I Am a fun,energetic,enthusiastic,punctual,positive person, i love to be active and busy i love sport. i used to play rugby for my country.. I have 3 children of my own and 2 dogs that keep me active.
My Experience
i have had 4nanny positions and 2 nanny/housekeeping with children from ages 0-16, my last job which I have just left was with 3 boys twins 5(when I started) 11 now and 6/7 when I started) 13 now, I was with this family for 6 and a half years. One twin has cerebral palsy and I supported him with personal hygiene, showering, getting dressed, manual handling,feeding, supporting physiotherapy sessions, hippo therapy, swimming. I attended hospital appointments. Driving a WAV .. cooking cleaning, shopping running daily errands and minor diy jobs…taking and collecting from school.
In the holidays we attended the theatre, music concerts, cinema, museums, I have also looked after the children for overnight stays from 1 night to 5 night. I have been on holiday with the family to provide restbite and care..
my job before that Jobs was with 3 children B13 G15 and a B22months with down syndrome, I do the nursery run 3 mornings and afternoons a week, i cook for all the children every night, i do all the cleaning,washing,ironing,food shopping,clothes shoppng,organising dentist appointments, i have attended a basic makaton course and go to speech and language and small steps whch are sessions for children with learning difficulties and special needs, i (when i can )help the older children with their homework, i organise activities such as sports,swimming,running,cycling,walking the dogs,gardening, cooking,arts and crafts.. After that I was a nanny housekeeper for 2 years for 2 boys aged 10 and 13, role involved afternoon school run, daily errands and all household chores.
I have worked in a special needs teaching assistant at Marjory Kinnon school, I was in this role for 1 and half years.
My Qualifications
no current qualifications I am on the voluntary Ofsted register, hold a paediatric first aid certificate and I have a dbs. i have 15 years of child care experience
