Exceptional care, highly recommended

We feel exceptionally lucky to have Julia as a childminder. Julia combines a fantastic, welcoming, gentle, caring, and kind demeanour with professionalism and thoroughness. I have absolute confidence that our son (2 years old) will be safe, well-looked after, and have a wonderful time. Julia's activities and toys just seem to be really well-chosen: it's easy to see from Julia's regular updates and photos how much our son enjoys his time there, and also that he's really learning, and developing his understanding of the world. The focus on nature and being outdoors is a real bonus. The children regularly do unusual and inspiring crafts, and these seem to be really well-designed; our son will often continue to engage with the crafts after he's brought them home (e.g. talking about them, or incorporating them into his play). In other settings, our son has sometimes had some difficulties settling, but he just seems to love Julia's company and activities: if we tell him in the evening that he's going to Julia's the next day, he often says he wants to go there straight away! We also really appreciate Julia's reassuring communications and updates.

Home from home

Julia childminded for our daughter from the age of 5 months old. We had never left our daughter with anyone before so it was a big step for us, however Julia made us both feel so comfortable and valued as parents. Our daughter’s face lit up everytime we dropped her off and at times she didn’t want to leave! The home from home nurturing environment made the service more cosy for our little one. Julia’s communication is excellent and we regularly received photos and updates daily! Julia followed through with the changes of our daughters routines. She cared for our daughter like she was one of her own.

Wonderful childminder

Julia has been looking after our son since October 2021, and we couldn't ask for more caring and kinder childminder! She offers a plenty of settling-in sessions, an amazing and educative environment and she is excellent in keeping in touch with us during the day, including sending a regular pictures. Our son adores her and he feels very safe and comfortable in her company. As first- time parents, we were a little bit anxious, however, Julia's support and professional approach helped us to keep calm and confident - especially after we saw how happy is our son in her presence. Truly home from home experience! We can highly recommend Julia as a childminder to other parents, and we sincerely hope that she will take care of our second baby as well!
