About Me
My name is Celestine
I am Ofsted Registered with Good Judgement on my last inspection nearly 2 years ago.
I have been childminding for the past 16 years and have broad experience of helping children achieve their full potential in all areas of development..
My home is safe, secure and very stimulating for young children to explore their
curiosity. I attend local play groups and love taking the children to nature walks, library, and clubs.
I also have CCTV cameras outside my house and the road to monitor any
activities outside my home.
l have enclosed garden that allow children to have fresh air and play while, I have access to local parks etc which the children love to go there to play and explore their surroundings.
My activities are planed based on each child abilities, needs, interest, and their developmental progress in accordance with the revised EYFS, to give all children the best possible start in their early education process.
I personally believe strongly that 'Every Child Deserve a Good Strong Foundation towards their early education.
My Experience
I have been caring for children from the age of 17.
I have over 20-years experience working with children on different age groups
both in abroad and home.
I have also been involved in setting up a play group and have worked in both private and public sector childcare settings
I have cared for children as a mother for nearly 16 years, been actively involved with the local kids groups for just as long.
I have travelled on many school trips while l was working as nursery nurse in private sector. With 0ver 20 years working with children, and over 12 years as a childminder, have gained me broader knowledge, in understanding the uniqueness of children and their diverse characteristics, I have learnt that children are very special and unique in their own ways, they have different abilities, talents, interests, personalities etc, they grow and develop in their own pace, all they need is adult cheer them on and support, encourage, direct and they can achieve.
My Qualifications
| qualified as a nursery nurse with diploma in childcare and education level
three.
I have had numerous training on child protection and safe guarding children,
Effective curriculum planning, training on Revised Early Years Foundation Stage,
Paediatric first Aid, and many more.
My Availability
My setting is open from 7:30 am to 6:pm, I am also flexible and try my best to adjust
to parents who work long days like nurses etc.
