Wonderful

Our second child is about to finish his time at Lynda's before moving on to preschool, and it's fair to say we're all a bit devastated! He has attended for exactly two years, and in that time, he has come to think of Lynda as a member of the family, as do we all. She has always been so kind (with both our children), caring and loving, yet with a strong-willed boy she has always managed to keep him in check and under control! He has also learnt lovely manners, mainly from Lynda, as well as being potty trained, also mainly under Lynda's guidance. She understands babies and toddlers so well, and really knows how to bring them on with their speech, as well as physical development and social skills, such as turn-taking and sharing. We have never once worried about our son whilst in Lynda's care, and know that by the time we pick him up, he will have had a fun-filled action-packed day of crafting, imaginative play, fresh air and fun outside, as well as stories, games and toys galore! Lynda keeps you updated with lots of lovely photos which is invaluable, especially if you are leaving your baby for the first time. We knew that Lynda was perfect for us from the moment we first met her, and saw how the children in her care reacted to her, and how she cared for and nurtured them. We will be so sorry to not be seeing Lynda on a regular basis anymore, and our five year old daughter still asks if she can go to Lynda's to play! Thank you so much for everything over the past four years Lynda! xxx

One in a million childminder

We found Lynda after our son didn’t settle at nursery at 11 months old. We are so glad we did! He settled straight away from the first visit, we didn’t even need any settling in sessions! Lynda provides fabulous childcare, I have never worried about him anytime he is there. She provides activities that are chosen specifically to engage each child’s interests and learning needs so that each child can learn at their own pace and keeps them engaged. The activities are varied and often themed with the time of year. I can honestly say I don’t believe my son would have achieved half the milestones he has if it hadn’t been for Lynda, from gross motor skills, to speech and language, to independent living skills such as dressing and toilet training. Lynda’s is perfect for our son, as she has no school drop offs she can taylor the days to fit in around our sons routine at home, so it really is like home from home. We are regularly updated throughout the day with lots of photos, which means we can then talk through his day when we get home. He has a fantastic day everyday and often asks to go when it’s not his day to go!! Lynda’s enthusiasm, limitless energy and love for her job and the children means I am so very sad it is coming to the time for him to move on. We love Lynda and can not recommend her enough. So much so I am 5 months pregnant and the next one is already booked in!! Thank you Lynda, for everything.

Excellent Childcare Provider

Lynda has cared for my daughter for the past 18 months from her being 10 months old when I went back out to work. Although I really struggled with leaving her Lynda was empathetic & the daily photos & updates she provided were such a lovely touch which meant I could keep up to date with what she was doing throughout her day. The home from home environment seemed so much nicer for me rather than a large day nursery & my daughter has definitely reaped the rewards from this as she is such a confident happy little girl & an extremely clear communicator!
Lyndas experience shines through as there is always some kind of activity planned & the children love getting involved.
It is clear for all to see that Lynda really does enjoy her job & my daughter certainly loved going everyday which was such a relief for me...
I cannot recommend her highly enough & wish her all the best x

Lynda is brilliant!

My son attended Lynda's Little ones from 10 months up to 2 years 10 months. The journey that he went on in Lynda's care was just amazing.
Lynda provides a huge array of constantly changing activities, craft activities, lots of outdoor play which my son loved, baking, lots of very imaginative play. The care and attention shown to my son by Lynda, and her genuine interest in his development and wellbeing all the time meant that I felt as happy leaving him with her, whilst I went through the adjustment of getting back to work, as I would have been to leave him with a close relative, this gave me a peace of mind that I never expected to find and it was all down to Lynda's care.
My husband and I always had really great communication channels with Lynda and found it easy to keep up with my son's development or any concerns either of us may have had. Lynda provided us with photos of my son throughout the day which made such a huge difference to our daily lives and really helped us to feel close to our son and see what he was doing and how happy he was.
In summary: we feel incredibly lucky to have found Lynda and genuinely feel she has made a huge difference to our son's start in life in terms of development and learning through play. My son adores Lynda and was always happy to be dropped off with her. Can not praise Lynda highly enough, she is AMAZING!

Wonderful!

We honestly can't recommend Lyndas Little Ones enough. She has fab imaginative activities set out daily, our son learnt something new everyday! Her home is lovely, spacious and clean with indoor and outdoor facilities. He genuinely loved going to Lyndas house and would cry if we ever walked past and didn't take him in!

Amazing! Highly recommended

My daughter started with Lynda in August 2014, from her very first settling in session she was happy, engaged and calm. All my worries faded away as I saw how at ease she was. It also helped that Lynda made us feel at ease too. Her professionalism, amazing environment, updates throughout the day and variety of activities is second to none. It means we have no worries when we're not there as we know she's in very good hands.

My daughter loves Lynda!

I am so happy that we found Lynda. After an unpleasant experience sending my daughter to nursery for a few weeks I decided that a child minder would be much better suited to looking after her. Lynda has made me see that this was 100% the right thing to do. She is fantastic with my little girl and more often than not she doesn't want to leave when I collect her! The amount of activities she puts on each day for the children is great and she keeps me up to date throughout the day with photos of my daughter and what she is up to. My daughter settled with Lynda from her very first visit and has really improved on her interaction skills and learning to share with other children since Lynda has been looking after her. She comes home saying new words nearly every day now and I can clearly see what a positive impact Lynda is having on her. I wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else now and any future children will be going to Lynda's too!

We love Lynda!

Lynda has been looking after my little girl for a few months now and right from our first settling in session, I felt confident that Daisy would be very happy with Lynda. She has a natural rapport with the children she cares for, and Daisy is always so happy to go to Lynda's. She always has a fantastic array of activities set out for the day, and has continuous provision of well-equipped separate playroom, creative room, lovely outdoor space and homely environment. As an early years teacher myself I am always impressed by how well-organised everything is, and how many lovely activities Daisy has got through in her sessions. I can't praise Lynda enough, she really does provide excellent childcare, and I am so glad we found her!

Outstanding child care!

Lynda looks after my grand daughter.
Lynda is very kind, very sensible , and exceptionally knowledgeable about children's development..
Since my grand daughter has been going to Lynda she has made enormous progress in every area of her development, She has also been amazingly happy. Previously she went to a nursery and cried every single session that she was left, but barely cried at all with Lynda, even the first session. In fact she looks forward to going, and starts kicking her legs and getting excited when she knows she is going there.
Lynda has a huge and well organised array of toys and activities, and is thoughtful about providing a variety of really interesting and different play opportunities on a daily basis. I am a very demanding ex teacher, but can honestly say that Lynda provides the best child care I have ever seen, and that includes mine !

Great choice

We are first time parents and leaving our daughter after 13 months of sole care with someone we did not knew was hard. However, Lynda made it as easy as possible-she sent us (and still does) lots of photos of LO, complete daily dairy so we know how Ida was and every so often we would get developement and milestones dairy. Lynda is genuinly very interested in our munchkin and I really feel like chilcare is something she really enjoys (therefore enjoy spending time with our LO). Every time I leave my Ida at Lyndas there are different toys/activities prepared plus Lynda really try to accomodate Ida's interests -for example one time I have mentioned that Ida likes to watch me cooking and try to join in. Next time at Lyndas Ida was preparing her own fruit salad:) From our perspective we could not choose better. From our daughter perspective I can only say (she is nearly 18 months) she loves Lynda and time spent there.Took her some time and few tears to use to being without us but now she absolutely love the whole experience-new activities, different toys and person who really like her. Overall, we can easily recommended Lyndas-she is great person with fantastic childcare services.
