About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminders/ nanny in the NR2 area of Norwich, between the UEA and the City. Ofsted graded 'Good'
I have an NVQ3 in childcare, I have an extensive training profolio with lots of SEN experience.
I will drop and collect from, Recreation Infant, Parkside school.
I have a spacious child friendly home, with a dedicated log cabin & a well equipped back garden. I pride ourselves on being a loving, caring and friendly childminders where children and parents are made to feel very welcome in our home. We offer a friendly multicultural stimulating home environment, providing activities and experiences that encourage children to learn while they play through arts, crafts, role play, outdoor play, cooking etc. We attend other settings such as the museum, library, music groups, play groups, parks, Dinosaur Park, Swimming, allotment.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for the last 17 years or so. In my younger days I have been an Au-Pair in America, on my return to Norwich,
I became a full-time nanny for some well known Norfolk families.
I am a proud mother to 5 wonderful children ages ranging from 5 yrs - 17yrs.
Until recently our childminding families had been with us for many years, and now attend high school, they no longer require our services however we continue to have a great relationships with these parents and children, we have remained great friends and still arrange regular outings, including camping trips.
I am proud to have supported these children through their Early Years, starting school and there transitions into high school.
Excellent reference available.
As a parent with 2 children at school with SEN, I have gained a wealth of knowledge, and understanding, I also attend regular training, and implement new strategies.
