About Me
I have been a registered and insured Childminder for 19years, graded Outstanding by Ofsted with the added benefit of a N.V.Q. Level 3 and a BETC Level 3 in Children's care, Learning and Development which I was awarded in 2010. I am an approved childminder by Southwark (Southwark children come first network childminder).
My Home
My home environment is warm and welcoming to children and parents. I encourage all children in my setting to reach their full potential through play, tracking them through the Early Years Foundation Stage. All parents have access to their child's progress which Parents can log in to the system and view their child's Diaries, Progress, you can view assessment Scales, Observations, Photographs, read & sign your Policies & Permissions, view your Invoices and much much more.
Complete interaction allows you to leave comments for me to read and comments left by me for you which is great for that busy parent.
I make sure my home is safe and secure , with a space that is organised and used to promote children's development. I take great care and pride in offering your child home-made and healthy meals and snacks. I attend regular playgroup, Library's, parks within the local area to help promote good social skills.
Myself and my 18 year old son live in a two bedroom flat with a lovely sized communal garden. There is a small kitchen which I love teaching children to cook (dependent on age). Lounge area is for quiet time a place to relax, do homework, ict , eat and do many craft activities.
Babies and young children that sleep in the afternoon will sleep in my sons room in a travel cot.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
Under 5 years full day rate which includes all meals and trips. = 65.00
Before and after contracted hours is £10 an hour.
After School care - drop off or Pick up from The Cathedral School of St. Saviour and St. Mary Overy SE1 Redcross Way = £10 hour. which includes homework help plus a full evening meal
I do accept Childcare voucher.

My daughter has been with Leah for a year since she was was 14 months. Leah has been very accomodating to our shift patterns and she has given us thorough online reports of activities/food and even pictures at the end of the day, which is always nice and reassuring for any working parent. My daughter has enjoyed being with her and playing with other children in her setting, going to playgroups, parks, library club, etc. All in all it has been a very positive experience.
