The BEST childminder!

Helen is without a doubt the best childminder anybody could wish for!
From the day my son started with her she has been incredible. She does so many activities with her Little O's, making them very fun and engaging. My little boy is a big outdoor child and Helen has definitely helped him to learn to ride his balance bike.
There are not enough words to describe just how much of a special and amazing person Helen is.
We will all miss her very much xx

Incredible Childminder

We feel so lucky to have found such an incredible childminder for our son. From the very beginning, Helen has gone above and beyond to create a nurturing, fun, and stimulating environment. Our son has absolutely thrived under her care—his confidence, curiosity, and development have grown so much since being with her.

One of the things we love most about Helen is her passion for getting the children outdoors. Whether it's going on nature walks, exploring local parks, or exciting trips to the zoo, she always finds creative and engaging ways to help them learn and discover the world around them. Her energy, patience, and genuine love for what she does shine through every day.

We couldn’t ask for a better person to look after our little one. She’s truly made a lasting positive impact on our family, and we’re so grateful for everything she does. Our son loves Helen and so do we!!

Exceptional childminder

I was unhappy with the nursery I put my little boy into, so took the huge decision to change childcare providers. I am so glad I put him into the care of Little O's. Helen is amazing, she takes the children on exciting day trips, organises educational activities and encourages learning through play, and independence. My little boy's behaviour improved so much as Helen and I worked together to get the best out of him, and she worked with us to ensure he was potty trained and could put his own shoes on, ready for pre-school. Helen was an amazing support through some of the challenges and it really felt as though she was a part of our family. Moving my little boy to Little O's was absolutely the right choice, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her. She is an amazing childminder and a great second mum to the children in her care, who she treats like members of her own family.

Outstanding childminder

My son has been a part of the Little O’s family since September 2022 and he absolutely loves going and asks to go at weekends too!
Helen is an absolutely amazing childminder! Our son adores Helen and her family. A true home from home childminder who takes you and your child in as one of the family. The activities and days out are outstanding, always busy and learning. Our son has come on leaps and bounds since attending Little O’s and it is definitely down to the care, attention and activities he is given by Helen. Helen is brilliant at communicating what they are getting up to throughout the day and doesn’t rush the evening handover either, taking her time to make sure all information is passed on. A massive thank you Helen! ⭐️

Helen is wonderful

Helen is an excellent childminder, we’ve been using her for nearly 9 months. Helen immediately put us at ease when we met her and she showed us her setting.

My daughter talks about what she’s been doing with Helen when we pick her up and she’s always had a fun time playing with the other children, she’s even drawn pictures days later! They go to the park, to the zoo and other fun days out. Helen sends us pictures of what they’ve been up to during the day which I love to see.

My daughter really looks forward to seeing Helen.

5 star childcare, would definitely recommend!!!

I have been using Helen's services coming up to two months now, she does the morning school run for my 6 yr old. He absolutely loves being dropped off at her house he calls it "Helen's breakfast club" its definitely the best part of his morning. Helen is such a gem, I struggled to find childcare for the teacher strike days she stepped in and offered her services so I was able to go to work. I would honestly recommend Helen to any parent seeking childcare.

Helen is THE BEST

I am so happy my little one is at Little O's. The nursery previously attended wasn't really working and I began my search for alternative childcare. The second I met Helen I knew she was the right fit for our family. She takes the children on exciting adventures out and about; to the safari park, to playgrounds and forests. She also prepares breakfasts, lunches and snacks for the children and always lets parents know if the children have been off their food or needed alternatives. She doesn't add any salt to the food she gives the children and always makes sure they have healthy options (regardless of whether they eat it). My little one is so happy to see her in the mornings and has learned so much while in her care. I wholeheartedly recommend Little O's and am so grateful a spot was available with Helen just when we needed it.

Outstanding childcare

The process of finding a childminder for our daughter was extremely daunting for me, but from the moment I met Helen she put me at ease with her kind, trustworthy and professional manner.

Helen has a beautiful family of her own, her three boys are well-mannered and well behaved, perfect testament of their great parenting. Not surprising that Helen provides a very caring and supportive home-from-home environment in which our little girl has been thriving.
She provides such a varied, thoughtful, educational, creative and fun activities each day, like day at the zoo, soft play, art and craft, cooking pizza , being out and about in different parks and the list is just endless.
Helen also spends days with other childminders which provides great opportunity for our daughter to experience bigger group settings and work with different adults too.

The day to day communication is exceptional. Helen always keeps us informed throughout the day with constant stream of photos and videos. This definitely makes us feel part of our daughter’s day. If I contact her during the day with any worries she responds almost immediately putting my mind to rest.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Helen. She is always willing to listen to my concerns or just to have a little chat at the door. She has been so thoughtful in acknowledging special days like birthdays or Mothers/Fathers’ days.

Helen always encourages good behaviour and kindness both skills which are important for us at home. When our daughter is hurt or feeling unwell I know she feels comforted by Helen who always follows the correct and necessary procedures to ensure her health and safety. Helen also provides varied and healthy meals and snack throughout the day.

Our daughter adores Helen and it’s obvious to see she feels loved and safe in her care.
We couldn’t have found a better childminder and we will always regard Helen as part of our family ❤️

5 star childminder

As first time parents we were apprehensive about sending our son to a daycare setting. We initially chose a local nursery but were concerned when he still hadn’t settled in after 3 months. He was miserable when we picked him up.

In December we decided to make the switch to a home to home setting. And that’s exactly what we found with Helen. On our first visit to her home she made us feel very welcome and we instantly knew that this was the right place for our son. Helen has a loving family home that is a beautiful setting for the children.

Our son has settled in so quickly. We’ve noticed a remarkable change in him. He always has a big smile on his face when he sees Helen every morning and is in a good mood when we pick him up, meaning we get a lovely playtime before dinner and bedtime.

Helen has done an excellent job working with him to stop some of the bad habits he had picked up at nursery such as grabbing and biting. He is now such a gentle, loving boy with tons of energy!

We love that Helen keeps the children busy and is always teaching them new things and taking them to new places.

We could not have found a better childminder for our son and are really happy that he has settled in so quickly and he has a lovely bond with Helen and her boys.
