My Summary

My Experience

I was graded GOOD in all areas by Ofsted at my inspection in late 2024.

I am a member of PACEY the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years and am a member of the Quality Assured Peterborough Childminding Network through which I became an Accredited childminder so that I am able to accept the funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds within my setting.

I have experience of ADHD, Autism and am L3 Early Years SENCO.

I believe that it is important to look at each and every child's needs individually so that the care and education I provide suits the needs of that child. My setting is very much one that is led by the children so that I can provide them with experiences that will interest them and further their development. We spend a proportion of each day out and about whether that be in the garden or taking in the scenery in Hampton and Peterborough.

My Qualifications

I have completed my ICP, Paediatric first aid, and food hygiene for childminding. I have also completed the Quality Assurance so that I could be come a member of the Peterborough Childminding Network and in April 2009 I became an Accredited Childminder able to provide funded care for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

As a Peterborough childminder I also get access to lots of training provided by the Early Years Team at PCC.

In July 2011 I completed the Certificate In Childcare Practice which is a level 4 qualification with The Open University. I undertook this qualification as I feel it is important to continually develop my education so that I can ensure that I am able to provide the best level of care and education for your child.
In 2024 I completed the L3 Early Years SENCO qualification and the EYPDP.

My Availability

My current working hours range from:
7:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri all year. Depending on families requirements different hours can be discussed.
