About Me

Hi my name is Faye Bowker, at present I have full time spaces available for the under five's age group. I have been childminding since April 2011 since my first daughter was born and previous to that I worked in a nursery setting as a baby room leader.
I am registered with ofsted and hold a CRB check and first aid.
My husband Tom is registered as my assistant, he is a swimming instructor and has experience with working with children.
I have three children of my own two girls and one boy.

I use my own car to childmind with and is registered for business use. My car is mainly used in the school holidays when I go on day trips. These can be trips to the farm, woodland areas, different parks, soft play areas.



I childmind from my own home which has a large back garden that is closed off. I am close to local playgroups which we attend every week, schools, shops, parks, hospital and the town centre.

I provide morning and afternoon snacks. You will need to provide lunch.

I provide a wide range of toys including jigsaws, garage and cars, threading beads, small world toys, construction, wooden kitchen, dolls and pushchairs, musical instruments and physical equipment including a tunnel, slide, pop up tent. In the garden I have a water tray, a slide, various garden games I.e sacks (for sack races), bat and balls, hoopla game, crochet, mini golf, ride on toys etc.
I provide messy activities e.g painting, playdough, pasta play, cereal play, a whole range of messy play and I also do baking with the children.

A daily diary is provided for babies under 1, this is wrote in everyday, explaining all foods they have eaten, sleep, nappies, toys played with, outings we have been on etc, and is sent home with the parents to comment in if they wish.

I do a learning journal for each child that attends, I observe and plan for their next steps to help them achieve, learn and develop.
Photos are taken of your child with permission, these are used for their learning journal and are sent to you via whats app.
