Hello my name is Jane I am a Ofsted registered childminder and a nursery nurse. Lots of experienced. working with children .Helping children achieve their goals .
I am married to Karl we have 2 children. A girl which is now 24 years old and a boy who is 16 in Jan 2026 we live in Eston.. (A warm, Friendly family home) Treating your child as part of the family. I am a bubbly, caring person. Who works well with adults and children. Come and join Shining stars childminding service . Fun, friendly and Educational.
Shining stars childminding service is the place to be . Activities are planed around the early years foundation stages. Working towards the child,s 7 areas of development . Learning through play. Learning about the world we live in.Learn, All about different festivities around the world. Regularly Activities are planed . Which will be flexible to meet the needs, interest and routines of individual children. Trips to the beach , woods , parks . Being outside has a positive impact on children,s sense of well-being and helps all aspects of children,s development. Giving children natural contact with the weather , seasons and the environment. Also provides freedom to explore using there senses. Learning to be independent. I have a big garden where children can learn and explore . Big wooden boat, 8. In 1 climbing frame . Wheeled toys , climbing wall for older children. Children love to be outside. Children are learning while exploring.
I provide healthy balanced meals and snacks , which are included in the price.
I work with parents to make your child,s stay a happy enjoyable one.
Watching your child grow and develop is a job satisfactory to my self ..

My Experience
I Have been in this field of work for 28 years. I started off as a nursery assistant. after working for a year i went back to collage for 2 years . I worked part time as a nanny for about 2 and half years While i was studying . When i qualified i went on to work at Butlins Holiday resort in Minehead as a nursery nurse. For the staff nursery. Working with children from 6 weeks to 5 years.. I worked there for 4 and half years. For 1 of those years i was staff leader. I Left to Have my first child. Worked in retail while my daughter was growing up. I helped look after my sister in laws 2 children in my spare time. I Decided to return to the job I love. I worked as a room leader for 3-5 years and after schools. For 2 and half years. Left to Have my second Child. Went back to work for a year. Worked with the different ages. 6 weeks to 5 years. I decided to leave to put my years of knowledge and experience to use. Became a childminder. I have been a Ofsted registered childminder since 2012 . 2022 10 years Childminding .
My Qualifications
BTEC diploma in child care.
NNEB diploma in nursery nursery.
Customer service 2 and 3
Food H in catering
First aid up dated every 3 years .
Training on EYFS early years foundation stage. =2014
Behaviour management
Trained as a designated safeguarding children,s officer role.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
It is 6. pound an hour.
from 7.30.am to 5.30pm. it is only 5. A day.
I work with parents with hours required .
I am open to parents who wish care before Hours , it will an extra cost. Work with parents with the hours they would like . Help where i can
If you wish bank Holiday cover, this will be at a extra cost. Or charged normal rate if child does not attend.

Playgroups, meals and snacks, outings. are all included in the Price. Fun through learning.
5 pound per hour for older children . (Holiday care ) Age 7 years plus

Jane has been looking after our daughter since she was 18 mnths, we searched all over for childcare and settings and I wasn't happy with any of them until I came across shinning stars, Lilly took to Jane instantly which massively put me at ease and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. lilly has come on leaps and bounds since attending considering she was a little behind due to being premature, she loves being out and about and playing with the other kids and is always excited to come which gives you more reassurance. Jane works well with parents and has helped me out a lot when needed , would highly recommend.

My daughter has been going to Shining stars for a year and a half. From the initial visit me, my daughter and Jane clicked. Jane has been amazing with lilia and her development, she had come on loads and lilia loves going every day to see Jane and her friends. I am a single parent and have no family around me and Jane has been amazing at supporting me and lilia and has been flexible with childcare arrangements. Jane's setting is like home from home and I wouldn't want to take lilia anywhere else. Would recommend Jane over and over to anyone.

Jane is an amazing child minder. My two children go to Jane’s and I wouldn’t send them anywhere else. She treats the children like they are her own my kids love her. I will be sad when it is time for them to leave for school but they will be staying through the holidays. Wouldn’t trust no one else xx
