About Me
Hi and thanks for looking,
My name is Leonnie, I work along side another childminder Jenny. we are Ofsted registered childminders.
Our setting is a clean environment for children to rest, play and explore. We have 2 rooms downstairs that we use during the day and a toilet/shower room upstairs. We have a open plan living/kitchen area and a play room designated for the children, which is filled with toys, the children like to spend most of their time in here ! We have a separate lounge where the older children can sit and read or watch tv. The dining room is where we would eat and do our activities. We have a big fully enclosed back garden so rest assured your little one will be safe from any roads we believe that every child is special and that they all deserve to be cared for in a safe, healthy, secure and loving environment. We want every parent to feel happy in the knowledge that while they are working their precious little ones have been left in such an environment where they can continue to develop and grow into happy, contented and confident individuals.
Due to high demand and to cover holidays and sickness we have 2 assistants Janet and Leah who is also registered with Ofsted and all the relevant checks have been completed.
We have a dog called Simba on the premises which is a lovely cockapoo, the children love Simba just as much as Simba loves them.
My Experience
I have now been working within early years for the past 20 years, having been manager for 5 of those years in a large nursery in wigan.
I became a registered childminder in January 2020.
I have one child of my own who is currently 11 years old.
