My Experience

I am a fully qualified Child Development Officer and have several years experience of working with children from birth. I have also been babysitting for 9 years now. I have 3 nephews aged 14, 8 and 5 years old, and I have 2 nieces who are 9 and 7 years old. I babysit my nieces and nephews regularly. I also have newborn experience as I have babysat my niece and nephews since they were born. I have also completed the NC Playwork and Childcare course and the NC Early Education & Childcare course at college.
During both of my NC courses, I completed placements which were in local nurseries which involved me working with children as young as 6 weeks onwards. Additionally, i have my HNC Childhood Practice qualification. My most recent qualification is my BA (Hons) Childhood Studies degree which I just graduated from in July 2023. I am beginning my PGDE in Primary Education in August to become a Primary School Teacher. Therefore, i have an extensive knowledge of the Curriculum and the importance of children learning through play aswell as having fun both indoors and outdoors.

I have an up to date PVG Disclosure and I am First Aid trained.

My Qualifications

I am First Aid trained and I have a clean full UK Driving Licence. I also have a PVG Disclosure.
