My Experience

I have been a registered childminder for over 19 years and truly love what I do. I take pride in offering a caring, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

I work alongside St Helens council and offer both 15- and 30 hour funded places for children age 9 months to 3 yrs.

I regularly attend training and meetings to keep my knowledge and practice unto date.

We enjoy visiting local parks and on occasion meet up with other childminders, giving the opportunity to socialise, explore and take part in fun outdoor activities.

My setting is a happy and engaging space, with a dedicated playroom full of age - appropriate resources. I also have a large, secure garden where children can play freely, learn new skills, and enjoy a variety of activities.

I encourage learning through play, helping children build friendships, confidence, and a love for learning.

My Qualifications

I hold NVQ level 3 in childcare, along with Paediatric first aid (level 3 ) and Food hygiene and safety for childminders. I also complete a range of additional training courses and regular update my knowledge in line with Ofsted requirements.

In January 2024 I was inspected by Ofsted and received a GOOD rating.
I am very proud of my setting and I always aim to provide a high standard of care for every child following the early years foundation stage (EYFS) framework to support children's learning and development.

I am fully insured and work in partnership St Helens council to provide funded childcare places.

My Availability

I provide childcare Monday - Friday, between hours 8am-5pm.

I offer funded childcare places on a 38- week term-time basis in line with St Helens Borough Council.
This means funding is used across school term dates only, as I do not currently offer stretch funding.
Any childcare required outside of these funded weeks or beyond your funded entitlement per day can be arranged separately on a private pay basis, subject to availability.

My Fees

• Childminding from £7.00 per hour

I currently offer full-time and part time places. Please feel free to contact me to check current availability or to reserve a future space.

My standard hours are between 8:00am to 5:00pm.
I accept funded childcare places where eligible.
