Looking for Fun, Reliable Nanny 15-20 Hours/Week for after school
About Us
We are a fun-loving busy family in the Barnes area, with two children aged 11 and 8. We would love to find a nanny who can stay with us for a year or more. We would greatly value someone with 5+ years of experience as a nanny, who can help with homework, clubs and after school routine. Ideally, candidates bring great energy and ideas to engage and entertain the children after school and create a positive fun environment for the end of the day.
• Pay is in line with market average.
• No driving required.
• Some school holiday coverage (as agreed)
Hours
Monday-Friday 3pm – 7pm; Flexibility to work extended hours, but we’ll provide the additional hours well in advance. I can increase the hours with a couple of mornings a week (this is optional). This is a live-out position.
Nanny Qualities and Skills Required
• 5 years of experience
• Non-smoker
• Fluent English ideally
• Organization skills
• CPR and first-aid certification
Responsibilities
• Picking children up from school
• Preparing after school snack and evening meal for children
• Taking children to clubs (including swimming)
• Supporting children with daily homework (reading, spelling, times-tables etc)
• Helping children through evening routine (showers, homework, dinner)
• Light housework (cleaning up after evening meal, ensuring children put clothes in laundry, empty school bags etc)
• Planning activities when time allows.
