About Me
Hello! My name is Lisa and I have been a childminder for the last 16 years, working on a one to one basis with children from 6 months - 11 years old. The service I provide are of a high educational quality, providing an array of toys, activities and methods to support the growth and development of your child. In my services, all children will have access to a learning journey, a description of their development and transition enabling school readiness.
At home, I am a mother of two adult children (23 and 18 years old), my eldest daughter is a teacher and my youngest is studying Early Years Education at college - we are all very passionate about working with children, aiding the development and learning process!
I would like to welcome you and your child into my home! I will look forward to meeting with you!
My Experience
Prior to becoming a childminder, I have worked as a learning support assistant (working alongside children with SEN needs who are of primary school age). Here I supported the children on a one to one basis, planning activities to meet their individual needs and preferences. I have also worked as a lunchtime supervisor at a primary school, encouraging activities and healthy eating strategies. Then I become a childminder after my trainings as complete, I chose this path so I could work around my children when they were younger, now that they are grown up, I would like to continue to open my home to children.
