My Experience

As previously - NHS manager, Learning support with vunerable adults, LSA for children with additional needs, childminding, First aid qualified, insured, DHC , NHS Business Manager, behaviour management ,previous union representative, equality and diversity, etc............................
I am also an OFSTED registered childminder and have been for many years. I have excellent references and have an amazing support network of other childminders who I liase with and co-ordinate outings and development activities with.

My Qualifications

10 GCSES, 2 A LEVELS, NVQ 3 Social Care, Level 3 Childcare, learning and development, Food Hygiene, SafeGuarding Children level 1,2,3 and 4, Moving and handling, ACES, Autism, Administration of medication, ILM in business management, Equality and Diversity, ICP, EYFS and NVQ level 3 in childcare learning and development, plus many others..
I have also experience of children with additional needs. I have experience in providing naso gastric and gastro- enteral feeding and specialist care.

I am also an acredited childminder which means i can provide free nursery provision for 3 year olds and 2 year olds which meet the governments criteria.This means parents of qualifying 9 month old and two and three year olds can receive 15 - 30 hours free childcare which is funded by the Government. I will also be providing the funded childcare for all children from 9months, when it is implemented in stages from April 2024.

Due to being extremely busy, I am currently operating a waiting list for interested parents. Please contact me if you wish to be placed and what you require and I will do my utmost to accommodate. With the new government initiative coming into place over the next few months there will be more children than spaces available for all settings so it is imperative to look for childcare earlier rather than later.

I am also Forest school and Forest childcare accredited, and do sessions with the children. All educational opportunities are given for the children to extend their learning and be avid enthusiastic learners that are ready for school.
Tax free childcare and voucher scheme payments are accepted.

My Availability

I have vacancies for children from 0 -3
years and offer full or part time, term time, and sessional care.I will try and accomodate your needs as
much as I can.Outings and playgroup costs are also included in the hourly fee.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.75 per hour

My fees are £5.75per hour for any additional hours over the funded element,this includes snacks and regular excursions to play groups, museums, zoos and other educational experiences. Facilities available are a playroom, fully enclosed rear garden, exciting curriculum of activities, messy play, and encouraging a ‘forest schools’ ethos enabling outside learning in the local environment. All activities are working in line with learning outcomes with early years.
I work towards getting your infant 'school ready' and working with a nursery style curriculum and a holistic working approach.... I charge no retainer fees, no consumables or additional add ons to the funded hours. Please feel free to contact me for a setting visit and a non obligation chat.
