An Absolutely Amazing Childminder!!

My daughter started with Dee when she was just 10 months old, and from day one she has been incredible. She creates such a warm, nurturing, and fun environment — you can tell how much she genuinely cares for the children in her care.

Every day is full of activities, whether it’s trips to the park, playtime outdoors, or creative and engaging things to do inside. My daughter has come on in leaps and bounds since being with her — her confidence, independence, and social skills have grown so much.

Each morning, she runs in without a second thought (and sometimes doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day!), which says everything you need to know.

It honestly breaks my heart that we have to leave — the only reason is due to a change in our family situation. If we could, we’d keep her there right up until school. I can’t recommend Dee enough — she’s truly one of a kind and we feel so lucky to have found her.

Super Star!!

I have been sending my Daughter to Dee Dee’s since she was 11 months old and she is now 2 years old. When I first went back to work and sent her to Dee’s I was really nervous as my Daughter didn’t settle easily but soon enough she settled in to a nice routine with Dee and smiled and opened her arms out wide to her when I dropped her off. The time and effort she puts in with her really shows with all the new things she learns, especially new words she’s learnt, as she’s always saying Dee’s name even on her days off!
Dee takes her on days out to the farm and parks often and my Daughter is always coming home with different crafts that they have been making. She is always extremely helpful with being flexible with my hours and I have recently started a new job which she made a simple transition for me knowing I didn’t have to worry about childcare! I honestly could not think of a better person to leave my child with and I know my Daughter would agree!

D Dee is amazing!

We’re so grateful for DDee! She’s fantastic with the kids, always keeping them engaged and happy. They spend time at parks, meet animals, and enjoy fun activities like drawing. My child is always excited to go, which says it all. She’s also wonderfully flexible with our shift-work schedules — something we truly appreciate. Can’t thank her enough for the care and joy she brings!

The best!

My daughter has been attending with Dee Dee for the past 6 weeks.
I have concerns my daughter is on the spectrum and I wasn’t sure about leaving her with anybody but family, she’s never been left with anybody else before and nursery was a disaster with huge melt downs.
Well, Dee Dee might aswell be family because she has been absolutely fantastic with my daughter.
It took a good few weeks for her to settle but Dee was patient and gave her as many cuddles and as much reassurance as she needed. My daughter wasn’t talking at all before attending and already now that she’s settling she’s starting to come out with all sorts and I’m so thankful to Dee for all she does to help her with this.
She keeps me updated all day long with plenty of pics, she’s honest about whether my daughter is having a good or bad day and she’s always got the biggest smile on her face.
She’s absolutely fantastic at what she does and I’m so thankful for finding her and so grateful for her taking on my daughter.
Thank you so much Dee, you really are the best!

Amazing childminder

My son has been attending Dee’s childminding for over a year, he has developed so much and enjoys his time there so much! He is always disappointed to leave and sees Dee as more of a family member than childminder. Will definitely be sending my expected child here too!

Amazing

I came to Dee Dee needing a flexible childcare place immediately due to issues with a previous childcare setting. She was more than accommodating. Invited us over instantly to view her home and where the children would play. I have never looked back. My son absolutely loves going to Dee dees. Although I get updates daily in the form of messages and photos of what he’s been up to. I also get told by my son what he’s been up to and it’s always with a big smile on his face. Dee Dee is helpful and very down to earth. It feels like I’m dropping my son off with a family member not just some childcare setting. I feel 100% confident sending my child to her home and would highly recommend her. X

Worryingly bad

I unfortunately would not recommend this childminder to anyone with a child who is not able to communicate with you what’s happening in their day.
My son was attending at age 1 and I found many red flags throughout his months at the setting.
My son had a day were he unfortunately bit another child and was asked to leave the setting then banned from attending the day after but expected to pay.
Time being wasted sat in the minders car when 30minutes were still paid for in the day but waiting for me to arrive.
Just a very controlling setting and minder in my opinion not a lot of love for children more money focussed.

Considering your child stopped attending my setting over a year agoI’d say you have decided to write this false review based on the fact that you have just lost the court case where you was trying to defer the bill owing to myself and now have discovered you have court charges and the bill to pay thanks Denise

Charlie

My son Charlie has been with Dee with since he was 10months old. He has learnt and developed so much and enjoys going to Dees he is now grown and confident to walk up the drive wave goodbye and go to Dee. I feel happy and confident in leaving my son with her.
They have great days feeding the ducks, playing outside, art and playing with the other children.
Each day I have an update of how Charlie has been what he has eaten if he has slept and general information. I even have updates of pictures which is lovely to see he is happy when I am not there.
I would highly recommend Dee as a childminder she is amazing and Charlie loves going to her.

this lady is absolutely amazing. I messaged Dee as i was stuck, she's straight away had my daughter whilst i went to work at last minute. I'd recommend this lady to every one.
