Hello, I'm Lucinda, I live in Orpington close to a local park and play ground, I have a child friendly house with a sunny play room and garden with a Wendy house. I offer a fun family orientated environment to help your child feel welcome and valued. I have an excellent Ofsted inspection report and am graded GOOD, the report says "the childminder builds good relationships with children", "she is warm and positive and children go to her for cuddles and reassurance." , "Children play well together
and form good friendships." and "All children make good progress from their individual starting points."
I offer a 'home from home' experience and can provide nutritious snacks.I can teach babies from 6months sign language to enable them to communicate their needs, and become more contented. Each child is different, and has different needs, but I believe that with patience and TLC all can be made to feel welcome and happy in my home.
I provide different toys, games and craft activities to encourage development in a fun way. I take the children to local play groups, other childminders, and on day trips in the school holidays.
I am also available for local babysitting.

I am approx 5-7mins drive from Petts Wood, Orpington and St Mary Cray Stations (bus stops close by.)
We have a cat.
I am also registered for overnight care, as I have a separate sleep room.
My Experience
I have been an ofsted registered childminder since 2006, and in that time I have cared for over 25 children from 4 weeks old up to 11. Before that I cared for my Nephew between 2001 and 2003. I also have experience of babies with reflux.
I have three children of my own, and have helped out at their Primary school in years R to 3 before becoming a childminder. I also have Grandchildren. I am a registered member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY)
I am fully insured, inc Public Liability and Business insurance for my car, as well as registered with the ICO.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
As I am a registered childminder you can currently claim upto 85% of my fees back through Universal credits if you are eligible Fees vary according to individual requirements, part time rates start from £8ph.
Babysitting from £12ph
Ad hoc/ emergency cover from £12ph.

My almost 2year Old has been with Lucinda since just before she turned 1 - she settled so quickly and Lucinda was lovely and reassuring! To this day, it’s a joy to get Lucinda’s updates during the day.
I chose Lucinda because it’s clear to see the affection and care that she offers your little one throughout the day, as well as between the children she looks after (lots of cuddles between them!) - my little one often tells us about the friends she’s seen that day :)
Lucinda always makes sure that there’s variety during the week too, with interesting days out, playgroups and socialising. She’ll sometimes come home with little creations too, like cards and artwork (super cute).
Adelyn always comes back home clean as well, which I only mention because I’ve heard horror stories from other mum’s who had dodgy experiences with their chosen daycare.

It's difficult to find the right words to say how happy we have been with Lucinda. Our little girl started with her when she was 7 months and since day 1 she has been welcomed like part of the family. She loves Lucinda, loves the friends she has made in this past year and a half and she frequently speaks about Lucinda and her friends at home. We couldn't be happier, it is so important to know your child is happy and loved, especially when you have to leave him/her on a full time basis. Lucinda always organises funny activities, encourages children to learn, our daughter has grown up so much!!!! Lucinda is very caring, she clearly loves her job and most important she loves "her" children! She has always helped us whenever she could, she has been such an angel! Definitely a super childminder!!

I am more than pleased to highly recommend Lucinda Reynolds as a Child Care Provider for your family. Lucinda was our child care provider for over 4 years and our child has nothing but the fondest memories for her. We were always extremely happy with the care provided by Lucinda whom took an active role in enhancing my child’s development and education.
Lucinda provides many fun and challenging activities, games and trips to suit your child needs and is superb with children of all ages and would make excellent child care provider for your family.
