About Me
My Name is Annmarie & run a well-established Childcare setting based in Cowie, Stirling. I am 54 years old, have been married for 28 years to my husband Tony, who works for Stirling Council. I have a family of two Girls aged 22 & 16 years. I love to spend time with the kids getting involved in all sorts of activities and Projects. We have no Pets; however, when possible, visit the wildlife centre, safari parks, etc
I drive and have an 8-seater vehicle. I love to do outdoor activities when possible weather permits. I also love my arts and crafts, and love the kids to show off their creativity with the use of Play-Doh/modelling/baking clay and loads more. My garden is a kid's playground, they love it, and we aim to make the most of it in good weather.
We have sandpits swimming pool, plum swings a lily pad/swings playhouse as well as a sunken trampoline, climbing frames, saucer swings seesaw, and loads of natural resources too, for the development of a child's gross and fine motor skills kid's seating and activity Center we also have smaller kids climbing frame with attached chute as well as messy play area complete with mud kitchen water area, so definitely loads to do.
And a fully packed playroom located in the garden for plenty of role-play activities and outdoor movie sessions too. However, they may be tired when they come home...
Completed my SVQ Level 7 in young people and social care in childcare. I am currently working under ELC early learning and childcare for the local council and have undertaken funded hours for the past seven years.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 12 years. As stated above I am a Stirling council and cross-boundary provider. which enables parents to use my services as a private partner childcare provider I work for the council nurseries for 15.50 hours a week 2.5 days and the government will pick up the tab, Also vulnerable 2 positions available for children whose parents meet the criteria information on request. I am A grade 5. Every child has individual needs that are catered for.
It is a tough job being a parent and they don't come with a guidebook, but let me take that responsibility off your hands while you enjoy some adult company and earn a living at the same time. I have a full 45 years of dealing with nieces nephews and now great-nieces, and nephews. And I enjoy every minute of it Which is why childminding is my chosen career.
My Qualifications

I have an elementary Food and Hygiene Certificate and attended an SCMA course on childminding, I! S v q in social care and young children. I have passed my Pediatric First aid certification. I have undergone training and a recent child protection course passed. Tears Tantrums and Traumas course as well as Successful Learners Confident Children and The Business Side of Child Minding., preventing Bullying, GIRFEC Training as well as giving evidence in Court. Child protection training Food Allergy Training How Children Learn and Develop Stages of Development and Learning Observation and assessment

I Studied Web design to the HND level and I am a fully qualified dressmaker and Machinist. I am looking into new courses for this year always good to keep up with personal development plans. Keeps me on my toes as childminding is such a fast-paced ever-changing job.
My Availability
I am available from 8 am a.m. until 5:30 pm
although these times are specified I can negotiate should you require slightly different hours.
I can also arrange pick-up drop-offs times permitting that is.

Our son spent an amazing 2 years with AnnMarie and loved every minute of his time spent there. Nothing is too much trouble and always available and accommodating.
From the day trips to the food the kids are always very well looked after.
We can’t praise AnnMarie enough for all she did for us over 2 years.

My 5 year old son, who can be quite shy initially, has enjoyed being looked after by Annmarie from the very start and always looks forward to his stays. Annmarie provides a caring enriching environment with lots of fun activities that encourage development.
