I live in Banbury with my partner Andy. We have two little girls, aged 12 and 13.
We are all COVID-19 vaccinated.
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse, and Ofsted registered childminder. I have a pediatric first aid certificate and a good knowledge of allergies due to my children having multiple allergies (now outgrown) and additional needs.
I also have a full clean driver's licence. My car is fitted with appropriate car seats. I have vacancies from 8-6 However I understand that juggling childcare and work can be difficult so these hours are flexible
I am based in Cherwell Heights, Banbury.
A typical day would be a structured activity in the morning, either one of the many toddler groups or music groups. Back for lunch, then sleep time for those that need it.Free play ( or outdoor play, chalking, drawing or arts in the garden if it is nice weather ) in the afternoon. Snack, play, or a walk to the park.Dinner around 4 for those that need it. This is to be brought by yourself. Healthy snacks will be offered throughout the day. ( fruit, breadsticks, yoghurt etc ).
I understand that as parents you want to be involved in all aspects of your child's care, so throughout the day, I will keep a diary of your child's day.
My Experience
I was a nanny for 15 yrs, starting off by going to France at 17 to nanny for 2 girls 10 months and 11 years.,Where i got great experience and was able to learn the language..After returning back to the Uk, I left Yorkshire to move to Oxford (as the family i was working for at the time were relocating to Oxford) and have been here since i have nannied for children aged from 1 day to 11 yrs. and done both proxy parent and shared care. I am now a mummy to two beautiful little girls,
I have been childminding since the birth of my first daughter and love the variety that that brings.

Btec Health and social care
NNEB. (qualified as a nursery nurse )
ADCE (ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN CHILDCARE AND EDUCATION).
Ofsted registered.
First Aid Trained.
Full clean drivers Licence.
DBS checked.
Extensive experience in additional needs/ Learning disability/Global Development delay/ autism/dyspraxia/ Communication disorders and allergies.

Nikki has looked after my little boy for one day a week over the course of the last school year. From the first moments with her I could see he felt so comfortable and at ease. She really took the time to encourage his interests in numbers and letters and was perfectly child led in all the activities and toys she provided. I feel very lucky that my son had this wonderful experience and would highly recommend Nikki to all parents looking for a friendly, caring childminder for their little one.

My little girl started with Nikki when she was 1 and after her first week, there is nowhere I would rather her spend her time.
I got positive energy and a positive atmosphere when I met Nikki and instantly I know she was the right person
She goes above and beyond to make sure my little girl has the best time when she is with her but is also no push over.
which is definitely needed now she is a determined little toddler.
I love getting the updates and pictures from her during the day and then hearing my little ones version of her day at pick up.
whenever we get in the car now she always asks if we’re going to “Kikki’s” (this is her name for her) and asks to see all of her friends that she has made. and will always run in when I do drop off and doesn’t want to ever leave when I pick up
If you are looking for a trustworthy, reliable childminder, Nikki is your person. She is everything I wanted and more. and me and my little girl couldn’t imagine our lives without her.

'I want to go to Nikki's', the words of my daughter as we get in the car on the morning run. Unfortunately this time we wasn't going to Nikki's sadly, we were going to nursery.
This is a small snippet of how much my daughter enjoys it there. I get updates daily of what she's been doing and a comprehensive handover at the end of the day. Nikki is friendly, polite and always has the children's needs at the forefront.
We are lucky enough to be able to continue with Nikki for longer than the interim time period we were planning. The only sad thing is, our 2x sons won't be able to attend due to such demand!
