FROM MY RECENT INSPECTION IN MAY 2025;
The provision is good
Children build warm bonds with the childminder. They feel safe and secure in the welcoming environment that the childminder creates. The childminder spends time getting to know children and their families during the settling-in process. She gathers important information from parents and carers when their children first begin attending. Children settle quickly.
The childminder provides an ambitious and well-designed curriculum that caters to children's needs and interests. She implements a variety of activities that help children to develop new knowledge and skills. Children make good progress across all areas of learning. They are well prepared for the next stages of their learning. Children confidently lead their own learning and make independent choices about their play.
The childminder encourages children to explore and experiment. Children enjoy splashing in water outside, transferring water from smaller to larger containers.
Children demonstrate positive attitudes to their learning. They benefit greatly from outings to places of interest as part of the childminder's curriculum. For example, they visit the local park, the library and the community garden. The childminder uses these outings to help children to develop their understanding of the world and instil in them a sense of belonging in their community.
The childminder has high expectations of children's behaviour. She provides consistent praise for children's successes, which encourages them to persevere when things are hard to do. This supports children to have a 'can-do' attitude and develop self-confidence.
I also offer AD HOC CHILDCARE for some parents who don't need childcare on regular basis.
Look forward to hearing from you !!!

We are incredibly grateful to have found Serpil to care for our daughter. From the very beginning, she has shown nothing but love, kindness, and genuine care. Serpil creates a warm and nurturing environment where our daughter feels safe, happy, and engaged.
She is attentive to her needs, always patient, and has a wonderful way of connecting with children. It’s clear that Serpil truly enjoys what she does, and it reflects in how comfortable and joyful our daughter is around her. We’ve noticed great development in her communication and social skills, and we credit much of that to Serpil’s supportive and caring approach.
As parents, it brings us peace of mind knowing that our daughter is in such capable and loving hands. We highly recommend Serpil to any family looking for a trustworthy, dedicated, and compassionate childcarer.

My dauther started going to Serpil when she was 19months old for almost 3years.
Everyday Serpil provided new, other and various activities, games, plays inside and outside. My daughter was busy with her all the times. Serpil tooks the kids to local parks and playrooms. Her garden is great and big with lots of toys and pool during the summer my daughter was very happy!
Serpil is very flexible and always adapts to your needs.
My daughter was a picky eater, but eating meals with other children helped her a lot. Serpil had a balanced diet. Vegetables, pasta, pancakes, sandwiches.
Wonderful family atmosphere for my daughter it was a second home. She asks and misses her and Aila a lot!
Your child will have wonderful care, fun and learning.
Highly recommended!

Serpil was such a tremendous help when our full time nursery stopped doing Fridays. Our Son settled in immediately and it was his favourite day of the week! He made fast friends with the other children, ate food he didn’t/wouldn’t eat at home and was always so happy to go and happy when we collected. Serpil was also very flexible and helpful when we required extra days or care. I can’t recommend her enough!

Serpil looked after our toddler from when he was 1 to around 2 and 4 months. He had such a great time at Serpil's and was so sad to leave, however we moved out of the area and so had to. She taught him a lot but most of all he always had fun there and would come home happy but tired!
All the best and couldn't recommend her enough

My son went to Serpil for 6 months, before we moved house and left the area.
Serpil was wonderfully caring with our son, who had not previously been looked after by anyone but me and my husband. She was flexible and tailored her approach to my little ones needs.
She has a wonderful garden and a house full of toys and gives the children ample opportunity to explore and be curious through messy play. She takes the children out frequently to local parks, libraries and playgroups, where they mix with lots of other children.
Serpil feeds the children home cooked meals like stews, soups, pasta, etc which are always packed with veg and goodness! My son was always more adventurous with his food at Serpil’s, so it was great to know he was eating veg with her even if he wasn’t at home!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a childminder!

My little boy went to Serpil’s from 18 months old for 2 years until he started at the school nursery and he absolutely loved it, it was like a second home! He still goes after school one day a week as he misses going so much.
Serpil organises outings to the local parks, fun painting and arts & craft sessions, sensory games in the lovely big garden. The children also have time for free play and there are plenty of toys to choose from.
We’ve really appreciated serpil’s flexibility and care over the past 2 years especially given the pandemic, she has provided a consistently loving and caring environment for the children in her setting.

We are very happy to find Sepril who looked after my 2.5 years old daughter for three months. We needed to find somebody to look after her for twice a week for three months as my daughter’s nursery didn’t offer her space due to full capacity. Sepril was very flexible and agreed our requested schedule for my daughter. My daughter was very happy to go to Sepril’s house and made some favorite friends including Sepril’s daughter. She gave me informative advise when I consulted her about my daughter. She is very easy to talk and know about children a lot. Thank you!

We had to use Serpil on an ad hoc basis due to our normal childcare provider fell through. Her home has a huge garden with lots of toys for the kids to play with and both her and her mother showed excellent care looking after our daughter. As an added bonus Serpil was in touch throughout the day keeping us up to date with how our little one in doing which we really appreciated - shame I cannot rate communication 6 stars!
I would not hesitate to use Serpil again and would thoroughly recommend her.
Thank you
