About Me
Hi my name is Hayley Wallace, I have been working within childcare since 1993 after qualifying at level 3 in childcare. I have 2 children or should I say 2 young adults (both girls) who both live at home. We have two small dogs (Bear and Teddy) My home is situated within a quiet residential area in Thrapston and within walking distance to the local amenities/facilities. My home offers a great source of natural light where the children can learn and play with a large fully enclosed garden offering all children a safe, secure, happy, fun and caring environment where they are encouraged to develop to their full potential.
On my latest OFSTED inspection (June 2022) I was rated as GOOD.

My Experience
In 1999 after the birth of my first child I registered as a childminder.
1993 to 1999 I worked within a private nursery gaining experience within all ages.

BTEC National Diploma in Caring Services (level 3)

My Availability
I am available (full time or part time) Monday-Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm. However if you require slightly different hours, please do contact me to discuss my availability.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Pre-school aged children £4.50 per hour
School aged children £5.00 per hour
Unsociable hours (before 8am and after 5pm) are charged at double fee's
I'm registered to offer 2 year old funding and the 30 hours free entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds, for those who are eligible.

My son gets on so well with Hayley and the other children in the setting. Dropping off is like popping by a friends house and not overwhelming at all.
Hayley is fun, kind and caring and her home is lovely and relaxed. I feel very fortunate to have my son attend and I know that he is stimulated and well cared for in the setting

Since my daughter has been in Hayley’s care she has continued to grow from strength to strength Hayley helps the children to understand and learn compassion and treating other children and adults as individuals as well as going on lots of trips out and of course starting them on their learning journey to ensure they are school ready. She truly goes above and beyond for both parent and child I could not think of anyone else I would have to look after my daughter.

My first daughter went to Hayley from a toddler and my second went from a baby up until their first few years in school. I was very happy with Hayley and never worried about my two when they were in Hayley's care. Hayley does a lot with the children in her care, lots of music and dancing. Going to different places for days out and picnics. Visits to the farm and Stanwick lakes. Lots of making things cakes and art creations. My girls settled in well from day one with Hayley.
Hayley was always there to help out if I needed her. I have recommended Hayley to my friends. If I need a child minder in the future I would be straight back asking Hayley to have my girls.

I am one of the children that Hayley looked after from when I was a tiny tot (1 year old) at the nursery where she worked and then throughout my primary and middle school years when she was our childminder. Throughout the majority of our time with her, we (me and my sister) grew up with her two younger daughters alongside another two young children. Hayley made it a fantastic and fun place to go where we loved being. She made obstacle courses for us outside in the summer where she made medals that we would all get, as well as numerous opportunities for arts and crafts and baking. We would go for daily walks down to the library to get books out to read during the summer holiday, or down to the local sweet shop from time to time. It was fantastic to grow up in the environment that she provided as well as to grow up alongside her daughters. We were part of the family and to this day, could still even be classed as such. Thank you so much for everything Hayley! You were a big part of our lives and we have a lot to thank you for (including introducing us to the fantastic corned-beef hash)

Hayley was fabulous at making our daughter feel comfortable, and provided a lovely balance of fun stimulating activities and some quieter more restful ones. Hayley was completely reliable, trustworthy and a great communicator with children and us parents. I’d have no hesitation in recommending her to other parents for child care.
In addition to things you might expect from a great child minder, Hayley was absolutely brilliant with organisation and written communication, for example providing monthly logs of written hours and payment due. Hayley also recorded our daughters progress and included it in a log of activities and achievements, which we had opportunity to contribute to.
