About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare & Education.
I am an enthusiastic and passionate person who has a real care for children and their development through a holistic and child led approach.
I provide fun, stimulating and mindful activities, opportunities and outings for children in their learning journey which are tailored to each individual child’s needs, age and stage of their development.
I live with my 2 children in our house which is based in the AL1 area of St. Albans and is a short walk to St. Albans City train station and close to local schools.

My Experience

I have been working in childcare for the past 21 years working with ages from 0-14 years old.
I have had 5 years experience in a nursery.
7 years experience as a nanny which include twins and SEN support and 6 years experience working as a childminding assistant.
I have also worked a 2 month cover period in Early Years for Reception age children at a local school, working with SEN children.

My Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare & Education
• Level 3 Safeguarding
• TQUK Level 2 in Understanding Children & Young People’s Mental Health
• 12 hour Paediatric First Aid
• Food Safety & Hygiene
• Advanced DBS Check
