About Me
I live in Burbage with my two children, Taylar who is 13yrs, Harry who is 4yrs (big age gap lol), my husband Jay and our pet dog Charlie. We live in a quiet street with very little through traffic and a park just round the corner which is ideal for when little ones need a bit more space to let off steam! Our garden is a good size with a trampoline and many outside ride on toys and its fully enclosed with 6ft fencing.
I consider myself to be very much a people person who likes to keep busy with different activities. I enjoy cooking and baking (and licking out the mixing bowl), spending time with my family and friends and reading a good book in the bath once the children have gone to bed.
I will be offering a school pick up/drop off service from Sketchley Hill school in Burbage come September. We will be walking on school runs as I believe it gives children time to relieve some of the energy they may have from being in a classroom all day and can be a great way to learn new things and time to talk.
I have a fully stocked playroom with a variety of toys for different stages of learning and interests.
My Experience
Being a mother I think is the best childcare experience there is, however I passed my NNEB way back in 1997 and have recently completed "How to set up a Home Based Childcare Service" level 3 and registered with Ofested. I also keep up to date with current legislation and complete regular courses.
