Fiona has been looking after my little girl since September 2016 when I returned to work and she loves Fiona! She was only 10 months old when she first started looking after her but Fiona very quickly put both my little girl and I at ease. She's now 18 months old and happily waves goodbye to me every morning with a big smile on her face :)
Fiona has always got something fun on the agenda, be it a visit to a National Trust property, soft play or a music group. Fiona is also very creative and thoughtful and my little girl has come home with homemade birthday, mother's day and Christmas cards and gifts.
Fiona also picks up and looks after my 6 year old after school, and he's always happy to spend time with Fiona, her children and his little sister :)
Fiona came very highly recommended by a number of people and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look after their children in a home from home environment (but with much more messy play!)

I have known her as a friend since 2008 because her eldest daughter was in the same class of my son. She took care of my son for the two last years at primary school (2013-2014).
She is a great communicator and had no trouble in gaining my son's trust. My son was always very happy to spend time at her place and this made me re-assured and relaxed while I was at work as I was confident that he was in very good hands. Her home is always welcoming, clean and child-friendly and children have great fun there playing with all the toys available, especially outdoor. Beyond all this though, it is her warm and friendly approach which sets her apart from other childminders we have experienced in the past. I highly recommend her!

“ My 3 boys have collectively been looked after for 4 years by Fiona Merritt. She is the most wonderful child minder ever. Not only is she kind and caring to the children, treating them as her own, she is so creative and the children have always come home with wonderful creations I as a mum never have time to do.
The boys are so excited on "Fiona day” as they know that they are always going to have fun , go to parks , soft play and have fun days out and a delicious lunch. Benedict particularly likes Fiona’s pesto pasta with sausages!
Benedict also loves cuddling Alvin the cat and helping to clean out nugget and patch, the guinea pigs.
Fiona is so flexible too and will always help out where she can, if I have a slightly longer day at work , for example, and during the school holidays she takes my 3 boys for the days and they simply love it.
I would recommend Fiona as a child minder without hesitation.”

Fiona is very warm, approachable and friendly, whilst also being extremely professional with a safe and secure home. She always greets us with a smile and has a great relationship with my daughter. I would highly recommend her as a care provider for your child.
