We couldn't be happier with Alison looking after o

My 2 year old son has been looked after by Alison for nearly a year and a half now, and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives! Alison has a really calm, chilled and patient personality - particularly helpful during the settling in process which can be tough on a new mum's nerves - but also just a very reassuring trait for someone who looks after a bunch of rather energetic little ones! Nothing seems to get her frazzled or worked up.

I also really like that Alison takes the kids out and about a lot. They go to the library, playgroups and parks for example. I think this shows ambition and drive, as it would be so easy for her to stay in and just let the kids play in her lovely playroom (where they are of course very happy!).

She is also always very flexible about timings: my requests to shuffle half hours backwards and forwards here or there are always met with a 'no problem' attitude which is a blessing when trying to schedule drop offs and pick ups with our sometimes irregular work schedules.

All in all, I couldn't recommend Alison highly enough. I know she's 'new' to child-minding, but everyone has to start somewhere. Her own kids are an absolute credit to her and my son has grown quite fond of them and speaks of them often! Oh and her house is lovely and very well kitted out for little ones.
