Thanks for your review we wish him well

My son started here after his 3rd birthday but soon we had lock down. However, Mrs Jiwa maintained contact with the kids via zoom, planning activities and story telling to keep them happy and engaged. This was amazing on her behalf as it shows her dedication and genuine care for the kids.

I have seen a huge improvement in my son's communication and speech which were not properly developed before. The staff are so dedicated towards the child's individual needs and its very reassuring to know that he is being well looked after and encouraged to open up and step out of his usual shy character. They have tailored some of the learning to his needs to help develop his full potential. This can only be done when the staff care so much and it is a small setting where your child can get this sort of individual attention.

They follow the Montessori way of learning which is great as the kids are taught in a fun way and have lots of practical activities too. They have a weekly dairy to let you know what activities they did, but Mrs Jiwa is amazing, she takes the time to speak to you in person if you have any questions or concerns everyday. Nothing that beat that personal touch!

Overall my son is very happy at this nursery and the proof is when he wants to go to nursery or have a "meeting" with the teachers even when we are on holidays. I would highly highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

In May 2017, I came to view this nursery with my 5 month old daughter with a view to sending her here 1 or 2 days a week when she would be around 1 years old. However, after meeting Kubra and the rest of the staff I was extremely impressed and decided to send her here immediately!

Although my daughter was too young to speak, her reaction when I came to pick her up on the first day spoke a thousand words, she didn't want to come home with me! It was very clear that she enjoyed herself a great deal that day, at this point i decided to increase her days here to 4 days a week.

The staff spend a lot of time with the children on an individual basis and are therefore very aware of each child's needs and skills. They follow a syllabus type of method to ensure they are meeting all milestones and these are discussed with parents regularly.

2 months on, I remain very impressed with the staff who constantly give so much attention to all the children, there is never a dull moment here. I have seen significant improvement in my daughter's ability to move, verbal noises, face reactions, picking up toys, recognising new faces, confidence etc.

This nursery appears to have a very high standard of teaching as well as making sure the kids have fun on a daily basis. I see how excited the children are every morning. I, for one will definitely be sending my daughter here until she is old enough for school - highly recommend!

My son started attending this nursery shortly after his 3rd birthday. I spent a lot of time researching and visiting various nurseries in the area. As my son had spent his first three years at home with me, naturally I was concerned about how he would settle in, but I needn’t have worried at all. The staff were so warm and inviting and they had really taken the time to get to know his likes and dislikes before he started. Using this information meant his transition into nursery could not have gone any better. He completed his first week without a tear in sight!

The nursery use the Montessori method of teaching which has enabled my son to become an increasingly independent little boy. They have a lovely garden where the children are encouraged to play outside in all weather. A lot of their learning also takes place outdoors which is another wonderful aspect of the nursery.

The teacher will always take the time to let us know how he has been at the end of each day. She is also happy for the parents to speak to her in person, or via phone, if we have any concerns or would like any advice on a particular issue. We are kept updated with their weekly activities through a nursery diary which is sent home at the end of each week. There is also a parents WhatsApp group where we receive regular updates on what the theme is for that particular month and what they plan to cover.

Since joining the nursery, my son’s development has improved exponentially. The small setting means he receives greater one-to-one attention than he would within a larger setting. This also means that they are constantly striving to ensure he reaches his full potential.

In conclusion, I cannot say enough positive things about this nursery. My son is always extremely enthusiastic and excited about going – in my opinion, this is the best seal of approval one could receive!

Thanks for feedback

My son who is 18 months has been attending since October. I was initially very hesitant to put my son in any nursery, I was a stay at home mum for my first but this setting has exceeded my expectations. She's very attentive, listens to parents and unlike many nursery chains, she can be flexible in many ways with regards to meals and routines. She always tries very hard to adapt to the child's routines rather than drastically change routines which causes stress to child and parent.

The children are taught in a fun and practical manner, she's very organised and always has activities set up for the children to do.

I would highly recommend this nursery without a doubt.

Thanks for feedback

My daughter has been going to this nursery for over 2.5 years and we couldn't be any happier. It is set in a lovely setting and the staff are very professional and friendly with children. From the start we knew out daughter would settle and would be taken car of by the lovely staff.
We have noticed an immense improvement in our daughters development and also her confidence.
All children are growing and developing using the Montessori method, which I know is Outstanding!
Kubra is excellent in recognising the individual child's potential and with this is mind she is always looking to improve the child in every way.
We would like to thank Kubra and her brilliant team for my daughters development!
We would highly recommend this setting!!

Thanks that is really kind of you . Kubra

My son joined this nursery 7 months ago and I couldn't be more happier with the progress he has made. My son is a fairly shy little boy. When he started it took him a while to get used to the setting but Kubra and her team were patient and positive, they got to know my son on a personal level. I moved him to this nursery from another local nursery where I was extremely unhappy with how they dealt with both learning and play with my son. Kubra's setting was a breath of fresh air! My son sees it all as play, when in fact he is constantly learning his numbers, phonics, writing etc.

My sons confidence has increased and he has just been offered a place at a local private school. I honestly don't think he would have secured this place had it not been for his nursery.

I would highly recommend this setting.

Thank you very much for your feedback .We will definitely miss him loads wish him good luck for future xx

Both our children have attended Mountbel nursery since Nov 2014, and we couldn't be happier! Kubra is a lovely, approachable and helpful lady, who genuinely cares about children and their development.

Right from the start, we got the feeling that our children would be well looked after and happy, compared to other nurseries in the area. With it being a small setting, we feel our children get more focused attention.

Our 2 children are completely different characters and Kubra recognised this early on. We were particularly impressed by how Kubra dealt with each child's settling period differently based on their personality, characteristics and needs - ensuring both settled relatively quickly without making them uncomfortable. Our younger child loved it right from the start!

We have always found Kubra to be knowledgeable, approachable and flexible. We can speak to her at the setting or via whatsapp, and have always been given a prompt response.

Kubra invites us to parents evening every term and keeps an up-to-date tracker book (with pictures), to monitor progress. This has been extremely helpful in understanding how our children are progressing. The elder child has always been a fussy eater and with Kubra's cooperation, patience and advice we have started to see improvements in our child's eating habits. As we provide packed lunches we can see how much they have eaten, but Kubra always informs at pickup of how well they have eaten and whether they have been happy or not.

We have found Kubra to be very accommodating for us, for example we delayed our younger child's start date 2 times over 5 months and we weren't charged any penalties or fees for holding the place.

We know the nursery is excellent, as the proof is with our happy children. They look forward to going to nursery and are always happy when they come out. They get upset when they are not attending the nursery! We couldn't be happier with their development.

A big thank you to Kubra and her team!

Thank you for your kind review

I was looking for a nursery for my 2yr old and this 1 appealed to me based on the good reviews, however I had an awful experience. Kubra Jiwa came across as a lovely lady when we visited the nursery for a tour, we signed up the same day and I gave her a deposit and registration fee. As my child is only 2 and I have never left him anywhere before she assured me that if he cried in her care I will be notified straight away, she also said she will keep me updated via whatsapp. My son started and seemed to be getting off to a good start, everything seemed to be OK and I was happy with the communication that I was getting, however this did not take long to change. It proved to be that she would only send me written messages or pictures when my son was not crying, however when I picked him up she would verbally let me know that he had been calling for me and crying. I was given a diary which is meant to be for communication between teacher & parents and also to let you know what your child had been there doing there during their session, but things were put in my sons that she would then say 'Oh he didn't do that' but it was stated completed in the diary, therefore this isn't a true reflection of what the child is doing. On 1 occasion, I picked my son up after his 3 hour session (it was his 5th session) and his eyes were red and puffy and it was clear that he had been distressed for a long period time in their care. They failed to contact me to let me know this but she did message during the day saying he was playing happily. I came home that day and discovered my 2yr old son had eaten NO lunch that I had packed for him and was disgusted that I wasn't informed of this, it was out of character for him as he loves his food which again indicates he was in no fit state to even eat there that day. After this, I decided to pull him out and her contract states that there a 12 week period with no notice required that she or I can terminate the contract if the child does not settle. I was then told she would keep my money as even though he had only been there 3 weeks I had given no notice, and I wouldnt get the money back for the sessions left in the term that I had paid in advance. This proved to me that she was money hungry and puts money before the best interests of the children. She seemed lovely and turned vicious once we asked for our deposit back. My son isn't due to start Nursery until September, this was something I wanted to try but it wasnt a necessity and I didnt want him distressed unnecessarily. HIs 1st experience of a nursery was awful because of this nursery and I wouldnt want any other parent or child to go through this. Don't be fooled by Jiwa as she seemed so nice initially but proved it was all about the money. My child didn't settle, became very clingy but she stated that because he hadn't been crying uncontrollably I didnt need to pull him out. This is very unreasonable to me and I'm sure every parent would agree

Thank you for your feedback I am quite sad you felt that way regarding our setting .We endevour to have every child enjoy their time at our setting and we bend over backwards to accommodate the needs and provide a service of paramount quality .However, during the induction you were notified that during the transition period your child may be upset and would be comforted and it would take some time as he had never been left alone. He did however settle and had lunch at the setting except for one day which you stated he hadn't slept properly. I had sent you watspp pictures of him playing and while he was with us i even related to you that he counted to a hundred and you were quite impressed! If he was not settled he would not have counted for us . Children often take time to settle and i felt personally you didn't give us a chance ; 5 sessions is not a long time especially if its two days a week. In spite of all that i did offer you a chance to come in and sit with him in the setting but you chose to pull him out
Although the terms and conditions state that a refund was not applicable I provided one in good faith. I sincerely hope your son best of luck wherever he goes . thanks kubra
