Kelly is an incredible childminder. I knew as soon as I read her profile that she'd be perfect to look after our son. She made that terrifying first drop off (that I'd been dreading as a first time Mum) a complete breeze, and really calmed my nerves! I think I cried more than he did!!!
Kelly, and her gorgeous family, welcomed him as one of their own from the very first day. He developed a really close bond with both of Kelly's children and her dog Pheobe.
She is incredibly patient, kind and caring, and shows each of the children she minds so much love. It was a really hard to decision to leave her, a space came up at forest school sooner than we thought, and we couldn't turn it down.
It's been incredible seeing my son's journey from a shy little boy to a super confident cheeky toddler. He has had endless amounts of fun at Kelly's, with various activities that change daily. She has a big garden with a mud kitchen, slides, outdoor toys, and a covered veranda for shade or when it rains. He has learned so much in 18 months from colours, numbers and manners, to shapes, playing together and sharing.
Each day we'd a visual of his day with lots of photos and comments so we could see what he'd been up to.
We're going to miss them all so much!!!

Kelly has looked after our little boy for just over the 2 years from the time he was only 5-months-old. We are very lucky to have found her and she’s been incresible with our little one. He asks about her (and her children) on a regular basis (a sign that he loves her and her family) and he has learned so much during this period.
We’re relocating next year so wanted to expose our boy to a busier, more social environment, so we’re moving him onto a nursery for a few months, but we will all miss Kelly terribly, as she has been amazing from day one.
If you are looking for a caring, personal and indeed awesome childminder, you’ll be lucky if Kelly has space to accommodate your child. I’d look no further.

After over 2 years of childcare with Kelly, I couldn't be more sad to have to move away from her.
Our little one has been with Kelly since he was 5 months old, which was a very difficult time for me as I had to return to work and needed to find someone who we could trust with such a small baby!
We were recommended Kelly by chance and I knew instantly that our little one would be in the best hands.
She has the most wonderful variety of activities, menus and games. Our little one has learnt SO much with Kelly and her family through the 2 years of being there and is always so happy to go to see her.
He has learnt songs, colours, manners, kindness and has developed in so many ways.
Kelly documents the days beautifully, making us parents feel confident and happy with our little one's daily activities. She sends pictures and always comments on the pictures - giving life to the summary of the day.
The house is always clean and tidy, the activities change every day and Kelly also tracks the children's progress and communicates it to us parents often. Her house is lovely and the outside space is clean, organised and big for the children to play in. Our little one has been to plenty of external activities thanks to Kelly, from soft play to the farm, and to parks.
Our little one has grown with Kelly's children and her husband who he loves. We have created a real bond with them as a family, which is the best thing we could wish for, for our little one growing up.
We are now moving away and therefore have come to the end of our time with Kelly. She has been the most wonderful childminder for our little one and has become a friend.
I couldn't recommend her more to any parent who is looking for a safe, nurturing and happy childminder in the area.

After being let down by a previous childminder my wife and I were forced to find a new childminder at very short notice. From their first meeting my wife was impressed with the way Kelly interacted with our 13 month old boy.
Once he started with Kelly it did not take long at all for him to settle in. Now, very often the sight of Kelly brings a big smile to his face and there are few things as comforting to know that your child is happy and safe while in the care of someone else.
Kelly is excellent at communicating with us and regularly sends photos of our little boy and what he gets up to during the day. We see our boy enjoying himself in all sorts of environments with children at different ages, which I think is great for developing his social skills. He also gets opportunity to engage with Kelly’s own kids who are a few years older than our boy and he enjoys them and they seem to really enjoy him.
All in all, my wife and I feel that what started off as a bad situation has actually turned out for the best. I honestly can’t recommend Kelly more highly and we will be genuinely saddened to take our boy out from her care when we move abroad.
I recommend Kelly without hesitation!

A weight fell of my shoulders when my 1 year old boy and I met Kelly for the first time. Having visited various childcare settings trying to make a decision who to entrust my firstborn so that I could return to work, I knew this was the place for him.
Kelly played with him, exploring his interests, teasing out his curiosity with ease whilst providing me with the relevant information of all the formalities and policies. Kelly displayed a joy and playfulness in her approach that stood out.
It is very evident that she enjoys her job, demonstrating experience, resourcefulness and creativity. She is patient and easy going whilst setting and maintaining clear boundaries with the children. She always gets "stuck in" with the activities, for example when going to a soft play area, she is found in the midst of the children to encourage and support them.
Kelly provides a wide range of activities for the kids, incl. regular trips to a soft play, going to the park or other outings, creative arts & crafts, music & songs, story time, messy play as well as seasonal activities, e.g. attending a Christmas party. She works closely with another childminder and also has an assistant. Hence, the children get to interact within a small group and across age ranges (without it being too big or overwhelming), which my son really enjoys and has hugely benefit from.
She has large open plan kitchen/ dining area/ lounge and a good size garden, which the children can access freely during the warmer months.
Kelly provides a range of healthy home cooked meals and snacks. She keeps us up-to-date by daily diary entries, verbally during drop off and pick up as well as via plenty of photos and video clips.
My son happily goes to her and enjoys being with all the children. He has grown and developed so much during his time with her already. I am extremely grateful for having Kelly look after my son and can only highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder in the area.

My daughter has been with Kelly full time since April 2016 when she was 11 months old. I knew she would be safe and receive the care and attention she needed from the moment we met Kelly, during our meeting, whilst Kelly discussed her setting and policies with us her main focus was on our daughter and interacting with her.
Her home is like a second home for my daughter, a place where she feels safe and comfortable. Kelly provides a great variety of educational and fun activities for the children in her care, ensuring they have a lot of outdoor time with visits to parks. I really feel my daughter has flourished in Kelly's setting. Kelly keeps us informed of her daily activities and sends us photos of what they've been up to.
Kelly's meals are nutritional and healthy and she has helped my daughter explore so many different foods and flavours.
Kelly has a few other local childminder friends who all do activities together so my daughter gets to interact with other children and not just the ones in Kelly's setting.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kelly!
