Linda has been nanny to our two-year old twin girls and also our 5 year old daughter (after school and during holidays) for a year now. She babysits for us sometimes too. Linda has a gentle, responsive approach - on her first day, we were amazed by how quickly our twins settled with her. She’s intuitive to their needs, caring, patient and treats them as individuals. One of our twins wears hearing aids and Linda has taken time to learn about how to put them in, change the batteries and help her to get used to them. The girls love Linda and talk about her a lot when she’s not around. They have a sweet bond and look forward to their days with her. Even when the twins have tantrums, Linda deals with them calmly and effectively.
We have a really good relationship too and a lot of respect for one another. Linda is friendly and helpful – always has top tips if we need to purchase toys or equipment for the girls, and is happy to lend us items from her kit from when she was a childminder. Linda has car seats and a buggy in her car too - very handy when she takes the girls out. She often sends me updates/photos when I’m at work, which I appreciate. Linda has also fitted into our family life so well and uses her initiative around the home to help us out, e.g. sorting out play areas, getting our older daughter ready for after-school activities, unloading dishwasher, etc.
Linda has an excellent, “can do” attitude. She’s completely unflappable (even when she takes our twins swimming!) Linda is a natural, knowledgeable and proactive educator too. She works part-time at a preschool, which I’d imagine is a useful reference point when she cares for our (nearly 3 year old) twins. She’s thoughtful and proactive, organising a range of fun and educational activities for the girls, e.g. forest school, swimming, painting, library visits and reading, messy play, various sorting tasks, seasonal activities too, e.g. they recently made a tree collage using autumnal leaves and made pumpkin art. Linda tries to tune into their world and takes the initiative to organise activities as appropriate. She also understands the financial pressures of having multiples, managing to find activities which are low cost or free. The girls have progressed in so many areas since Linda has been with us, e.g. communication, colours, counting, etc. I like the way she builds the learning into their daily activities and is encouraging, so it has never felt intense or pushy. After school and in the school holidays, Linda also looks after our 5 year old and manages to keep them all happy – we’ve always been impressed by how well she takes it in her stride.
Linda’s extensive experience as a childminder, nanny and early years practitioner has shone through during her time with us. When I head off for work, I feel content knowing our girls are in her capable hands. Linda’s only leaving us because we can’t pay for her time using the funded hours our twins will receive when they turn 3. We feel privileged that she came to us and will be sad to see her go.

My daughter has been with Linda for 8 months now and started when she was 1 year old.
Linda has been nothing but fantastic, my daughter absolutely loves attending everyday and jumps with excitement when we get to Linda’s door. Linda is the perfect mix of caring, fun and firm with the children, she is always taking them on outings or doing something educational with them. This week taking them to wisely for an Easter egg hunt, rhyme time at the library and bushy park to name just a few.
Linda is just wonderful and I’m so happy we found her, I would highly recommend.

We are absolutely delighted with the care that our son gets from Linda.
He started going to Lindas for three days a week when he was approx. 14 months old and is still with her now (almost 2). He thrives in her cafe. We especially love the very thorough WhatsApp diary update each day and look forward to seeing the days activities - if not raining all day, Linda always takes the children out, to the local parks, woods, Wisley, rhyme time at the library etc. which I think is very important. But when raining, her house and setting has everything you could wish for, so many stimulating toys and activities and no tv or iPad in sight. We couldn’t be more delighted with Linda’s care and would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Thank you for the review such a placid easy going little boy, Its a real pleasure to care for him, long may it last x.
Linda has looked after both our boys from the age of 1 until 3. From the moment that we stepped into her setting we knew that it was the right place for them to be. Linda has created a safe space where children can learn and develop to the best of their ability.
My boys love the outdoors and they get the opportunity to be outside on a daily basis whether that is in her wonderful garden, at local play areas, Wisley, Bushy Park or beyond. Nothing is too much for Linda and she has the child's best interests at heart, working alongside parents to ensure the best for all. She is an extension of our family and my eldest delights at being able to visit her to discuss what he has done at school.
We are very sad to be moving on but know that what ever child takes our space is very lucky.

It has been a great 5 years in total. I have enjoyed our many fun adventures together.
I will miss you all too.
Linda has cared for both my girls from the ages of 8 months to 3/4 years. They have both thrived in her care and loved every moment (in fact my eldest asked tonight if I could book her in to go to Linda’s one weekend). Linda’s house is like a home from home, she takes great care to reflect the children's interests in their play whilst encouraging learning. She has a fantastic garden where they spend lots of time in summer doing various activities and water play which my children adored together with their little outings to the library, the park, the woods to name but a few. Linda always goes the extra mile and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

its been a pleasure caring for your children. I have loved taking them on their little adventures. It will be sad to see you go but will sure to to stay in contact.
Linda is an amazing childminder. My daughter has been with almost 3 years and she has always been providing her with a familiar environment, focusing on several different activities and being extremely aware of the needs of each child. She has a great setting, with lots of space indoor and outdoor and through the different activities she makes sure the children are learning and progressing while having fun. She often brings them to parks and playgrounds, for walks etc. encouraging also physical activity. I consider myself extremely fortunate that she had a space when I was looking for childcare and cannot recommend her highly enough.

It's been great to see your child's progress, especially under her circumstances, a real pleasure to mind. She will continue to flourish where ever she moves on to next.
We were so lucky to find Linda when looking for childcare for our daughter when she was 7 months old. I can honestly say that Linda’s influence on her development as she grew up was invaluable and made for an easy transition into preschool when she was old enough. The kind and nurturing environment in Linda’s home was reassuring for us, and it was clear that our daughter enjoyed her time there. We’re so happy that Linda continues to babysit for us and is still a part of our family. We would highly recommend Linda for all childcare provision.

Thank you for your kind words. Thoroughly enjoyed caring for your daughter, she gave me a great barrel of laughs and was great company with the other children.
Linda has looked after our eldest son for 4 years and our youngest for 1 year. Initially we had our eldest in a nursery setting which he didn't enjoy, and since moving him to Linda, he flourished so much so that we had no hesitation asking Linda to look after our second.
Linda's communication is fantastic and she maintains a daily diary that gives us an insight into the boys' activities. Weather-permitting, Linda is usually out and about with the children in her care, taking them on activities which have included regular trips to jitterbugs, play and learn, Claremont Gardens, Garson's farm, occasional swimming, and one-off outings such as visits to the Gruffalo Trail at Alice Holt forest, Chessington, and teddy bears picnic. The fun never stops and when they are at home, they are usually putting together arts and crafts, baking, learning puzzles or playing with the friendly rabbit.
We are sorry to be leaving Linda, but we are sure any family who picks her to look after their children will have as wonderful an experience with her as we have done.

Our little boy has been with Linda 3 days a week for the last 6 months. He is always very excited to arrive and toddles off happily in the morning and sometimes doesn't want to come home! Linda and her children treat him like one of the family and its so important to us that we know he is happy, well cared for and supported to develop. Leaving your child to go back to work is never easy - I felt guilty. But our boy has been really happy with Linda; her dedication and top quality care have been great. We go to work in the knowledge our son is in a safe, fun and loving environment. I met many childminders and nurseries before meeting Linda, and so pleased with our choice - she's great.
