My son Z has been with Alicja since he was 11 months old when he started settling. I knew she was the one as he was so comfortable in her setting when we visited, she was so engaged with him and picked up aspects about him that others didn't. She bonded with him well and he settled so easily. As with most children, he would cry at drop offs and she would always send me a picture soon after to relieve me on my way to work and show me he was doing just fine. She adapted his meals due to his allergies and was so supportive of it all. His fussy eating and allergies were difficult and she really tried her best. Sara was Z's key worker and she is the most incredible person, she has loved Z like her own, she is a wonderful individual. Sara still looks after Z in holidays and she is part of our family now. Alicja took care of the children like her own, she loved them, cuddled them, ached for them when they were sick. She is still a member of our family and will always be. Despite us moving on to pre-school, she remains a close family friend now and he goes to her during half terms. Her family is so loving and her home is full of love. We are so blessed to have found Alicja but also to have found the most amazing friends as they are now are best friends for life (any best friend of Z is our best friend too :D ).

Our daughter has been going to Alicja's setting for almost 3 years - since she was only 8 month old! Alicja and her team provide with the best care a parent can possibly imagine, from a warm and cosy setting full of toys, to home-made food and most importantly, an environment full of love. Alicja has an impressive background in childcare and her expertise is manifested in the way she plans all the daily activities, her approach to stimulate learning through play and her genuine passion and dedication. We consider Alicja part of our family and we will always be grateful for her invaluable help with the development of our child.

Alicja is a fantastic childminder. She consistently goes above and beyond to help our children and us. Her relationship with our children is like that of an aunt, who is focused on their wellbeing and education, in a warm and homely setting. We are delighted to have found her.

Alicja is absolutely amazing - so loving, gentle, competent and knowlegable as a childminder, and a lovely, warm person. She has an intuitive way of interacting with children to bring out their best and make them feel welcomed and loved. She is very forward thinking with craft activities, educational activities and regular trips out to parks and libraries, so both my children have benefited hugely and flourished in her care. I feel completely confident in her capabilities and couldn't imagine a better environment for my little ones.
My boy (aged nearly 2) has being going to her for nearly a year - he's had various problems with failure to thrive and allergies, and she has been consistently patient and careful with him, so much so that she is now the best person at getting him to eat (he's still pretty tricky at home!). He loves her food and she always caters for his needs in an exceptionally caring and effective way.
My 4 year old has been going also after school - she loves it too, and has had a fabulous time making cupcakes, glitter pictures, practising reading and writing, and playing with Alicja's own charming children.
Alicja is amazing at giving all the children age appropriate activities and ensuring all children are included at all times. She has 3 wonderful (older) children of her own, all of whom are absolutely charming with the little kids, and hugely enrich their time at her house - all are like little "mini mentors", helping with play and interacting such a sweet, gentle way with the children. Her home is welcoming, warm and safe - just the environment you want to leave your kids in knowing they are happy and having a great time while you go to work! I would wholeheartedly recommend her.

Firstly we would very much like to thank Alicja for being such an incredibly warm person, and for looking after my daughter for more than one year .
I was in fact very anxious about returning to my job as unfortunately my daughter didn’t settle well in nursery settings . I also didn’t have much time to find any substitute childcare. A friend of mine strongly recommended her and we went next day for an interview .
Our daughter got along well with Alicja on the very first day . My mother's intuition therefore told me that this was precisely the right place to leave my daughter .
Alicja is a wonderful person with a good heart, and has looked after my daughter with incredible patience and love . She arranged lots of different activities to stimulate her, as well as taking her to a play group. Her house is amazing, and enables children to settle very well, as it is arranged in the form of a little nursery with a wide variety of different toys . Alicja's own children are lovely too, and they so much enjoyed playing with my daughter.
Alicja is very flexible and helpful, and indeed sometimes also cared cared for my son, who was begging to come to her the next day . Everyone loves Alicja, and she has even brought me chicken soup to my home when she was bringing my daughter back , as she knew that I hadn’t cooked that day.
We are therefore very grateful to Alicja, and we have been so lucky to find a person like her. We will forever hold her in our hearts and in our memory . We intend keeping in touch with her, as we love her very much like family.

Our son has been going to Alicja’s after school since September and we couldn’t be happier.
He is 4 years old so we have had experience of various childcare settings over the years and feel very lucky to have found her.
She is reliable, professional and a very warm and friendly person and my son settled in immediately with no problems.
We totally trust her and she makes delicious food for all the children and is a wonderful mother herself to 3 lovely children.
We would highly recommend her as a childminder.

Alicja and her team are wonderful and have an understanding of children’s needs that goes beyond the professional. They are adoring of each and every child and give our little boy Oskar a home from home environment filled with laughter, fun, plenty of cuddles (especially important to us when he is tired and needs comforting), great books, stories, music, learning, plenty of excursions, picnics and outdoor activity.
She has a playroom filled with a great variety of clean toys that encourage learning and development as well as plenty of fun playing. There is a garden with a slide and a swing and all spaces are safe and secure.
Oskar adores Alicja and it is sometimes hard to encourage him to come home as he just wants to stay and play. We were lucky that it only took 3 mornings for Oskar to settle in, during which we took on Alicja’s advice that made it all work. We have since always picked him up happy and healthy and we love seeing him learn lots by playing with other tots.
As Alicia is a mum of 3 herself we fully trust her and her judgements. She always puts the children in her care first and communicates with us on how Oskar is doing at least once a day.
We would be happy to talk to any parents wishing to send their child to Alicja and her team.

If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. Alicja is the best childminder ever!
My son is very happy with her and always looking forward going back to his childminder.
She is always very kind and super professional with kids and that made me feel she was the right person to take care of him from the very first moment.
The place is always clean, my son always enjoys eating her food and there are always new toys so that kids can never get bored.
I can see how many things my kid is learning with her on a daily basis and I am glad for all the activities she does.
I can never recommend her enough!

Hello, my name is Ana and my 1 year old Luz has been with Alicja since October 2018. Our experience with her has been amazing and Luz absolutely loves Alicja and her family. We visited the setting for the first time in summer and we instantly felt it was the right place for Luz. The space is pristine, well-aired and with a lovely light; the collection of toys is impressive, catered for all sorts of age and interests. They also have a very cosy small garden, with a swing and even more toys. Couple of weeks before coming back to work, we started the settling in period, always guided by Alicja based on how Luz was responding to the new environment. She informed us every day about her performance and I also stayed with Luz a couple of days for half-an hour or so just to observe and for Luz to feel more comfortable. From mid-October, Luz joined the setting three days a week. For me Alicja means peace of mind; for Luz she means fun, learning new things every day, being looked after and genuinely being loved. I trust Alicja 100%; she works tirelessly to make sure that every single child under her care is happy and safe and she her skills set and background qualify her as a top childminder. Plus she is a wonderful person, always with a smile in her face, ready to cheer up grumpy children and calm down worried parents. I cannot recommend her enough and I would be very happy to talk personally to other parents who are currently seeking childcare for more details.

After 2 weeks of settling in and 1 week before my wife had to start to work, Alicja stitched us saying that our daughter was crying too much and she couldn't take care of her. Long story short we had to find another childminder but good arises out of bad. We had the chance to compare the work of the 2 childminders. Alicja kept taking new kids to settle in while our daughter was still not settled. Once she asked my wife to stay in as she couldn't take care of Matilda that day as she had a new baby to settle. She has more than a baby under 1 year and she is clearly not able to manage all of them. Kids play always alone. She doesn't do activities at home that involve all the children together. Last but not least she constantly kisses the kids (also the ones down with the flu).
In conclusion, I don't recommend Alicja as childminder. Even though she is a good woman, she is not professional at all. Sorry to say that.
