Lovely lady, brilliant setting

My names Natalie I am 21 and have 1 son called Oliver, he is 27 months old. He has now been in Geraldines care for 7 months. I am a very protective mother who has worked in childcare settings and studied childcare myself so I knew from the start what I wanted and expected from any childcare provider. When I went back to work in july 2011 I was very anxious about placing my son in childcare. Even though he is a child who settles quite easily, I knew that I would find it very hard to trust someone to care for the most important and precious person in my life. From the moment I met Geraldine I was instantly put at ease. Me and Oliver were welcomed into her home with open arms. Geraldine is genuinely the loveliest most caring woman I know. Before placing my son in her care he had only ever been looked after by my own mum, or sister, but she took us both under her wing, she cares for him as if he was a member of her own family. My son absolutely adores Geraldine (Gez as he says) and her family, as do I. You can tell that this lady really loves what she does and although she is professional she is very easy to talk to, and have no problems in discussing my sons development. In my opinion any parent or child would be lucky to have anyone like Geraldine in their lives. My son gets so excited when I ask him if we should go and see his ges, I don't think I'd ever be able to trust another childminder with my son as much as I do with Geraldine- amazing woman x

Wonderfull setting!!!!!

My daughter is 20 months old and has been here for 7 months! when she first visited i was a very worried parent as i didn't think she would settle, she never left my side she wouldn't even be left with other family members, looking back she seems like another child. She is so excited in the morning when she knows where she is going she cant wait to get out the door!
I am also an early years proffesional and work for sure start in an outstanding setting and so i am very pickey about where i send my daughter as i understand the great importance that the home learning enviroment has on a child's development and i could not recommend a better childminder!!!!!! She has worked with me every step of the way with my daughters development and she has come on leaps and bounds. I can always go to work happy and confident that my daughter will have a great day!
