Lovely person!

I’m working with Sonia since October last year.
I really recommend Sonia at all. She is dedicated, responsible and she loves what she does. My son was crying every time when went at his first childminder’s home, but with Sonia, I can be relaxed and happy because she did a great job! My son is not crying, he loves Sonia’s children, and also the entire family!
Good job, Sonia! I appreciate all the efforts!

Clean and loving environment

I started the collaboration with Sonia a few months ago, as she was recommended to me as well. I would be more than happy to recommend Sonia forward to anyone who is interested. I’m really grateful my son is being picked up from Roe Green, and then he spends around 3h until I finish work and go to pick him up. He is always happy and in good mood when he spends time at Sonia’s, and he made friends with Sonia’s youngest daughter. He said he likes it there because they play games and do drawings.

Great experience

I’ve been working with Sonia for half year and I would keep working if my circumstances wouldn’t charge.

My daughter Alice has settled very easy, she loved going there , she became good friend with Sonia’s daughter and the rest of the kids. They do nice activities and playing games.

The communication with Sonia was always great, she was flexible as well which worked perfect for me .

I would definitely recommend Sonia for her professionalism and kindness ☺️

Home-feel peaceful environment -lots of activities

Our 2 boys including one child with SEN spent with Sonia last 4 months. Sonia took great care of both of them putting a great weight on their safety and routine. Our boys loved to come every day and younger one will continue from September. They both had much fun , most days we received couple pictures of activities and also report of toddler routine (how long the nap, how many nappy changes etc). Boys told us with excitement about new activities as Sonia rotated toys for them to explore. Boys had their lunch boxes from home learning healthy diet with veggies and fruits we seen how they progressed as we seen boxes got back home empty and they asked for specific foods we seen they enjoy having their lunch with Sonia. She also been flexible with times and days to suit our home education & work schedules. Boys napped well and were relaxed there too.overall we recommend Sonia’s setting, thanks a lot

generally okay but need improvement

Commented at the beginning of using her service in May 2022, now comment again fairly and truth after 8 months (not working with her anymore, she suggested) Nice and tidy house, price is attractive and negotiable, but hygiene is not stably guaranteed. Food for kids is not always showed but my elder son told me some time will be fast food like chips and pizza, but sometime food once shows with pictures will be fruit and something nice home made. Help nursery
drop off with additional charge (1 pm Fountain Montessori Colindale) but teachers reflected the nappies were always full and kids showed hungry. Used her service over half year but stop because of kid eye condition happened in her place (red and swollen, not severe), she didn’t think it was her problem and rejected to continue to help to look after kid before diagnose report, but refund was provided. No cctv in the childcare area which mean once conflict happened she will expects you to accept her explanation if you don’t agree she won’t want to work for you. Some improvements need to be provided and a little big arrogant attitude sometime should be changed, but mostly friendly and respectful. Price were required to raised (changed) after negotiated not long ago because of a raised of energy price and general inflation. 4 own children in her house, no assistance hired. Seems to not willing to listen to advice and thinking she is doing very well already. End cooperation comparably peacefully. Still someone can work with once really need help and for elder kids.

My working experience with mr Wang
I started working with Mr Wang on May 2022 At the beginning everything was fine (the price and timing). Then I informed him 2 week before that I am going holiday. When I returned from holiday, he already found another childminder ( permanently. After few weeks he wanted to come back and start working with me again even though the price was not sufficient for me but because both his kids were attending to my place and I give him discount. later he removed his elder son from my place without informing me, but still I was working with his younger kid with the same lower price. He used to drop his younger son most of the time when the child was unwell (not major)like cough or runny nose sometimes fever and I had a hygiene issue’s with the kids and discussed many times with Mr Wang, but unfortunately he was not helpful. I used to drop the child to the nursery, but most of the times they refused to take him, because of child’s situation ( unwell) I had to bring him back and informed Mr Wang. The last day ( I working with his child) when he dropped the child, he was fine, he had his breakfast, played very well, then he went to sleep, as soon as he got up, I noticed he got little puffy eye, I thought it’s because he slept well, when I dropped him to nursery, I noticed that his eye condition had changed. I informed Mr Wang about child’s eye condition. I explain the child eye condition to Mr Wang, unfortunately he did not believed me. Then recommended him to take the child to the hospital, but Mr Wang still wanted me to take care of child to my place without any doctors consultation, so I insisted to take the child to A&E and I refused to take the child without doctors consultation but Mr Wang was saying, it’s not serious and wanted me to take care of the child. That’s why he was unhappy.
when he visited the doctor, the doctor issued to the child antibiotics.

I always encourage kids to wash hands as soon as they enter my house and before and after meal and alway encourage kids to eat fresh and healthy meals. I prepare fresh and healthy food everyday. up to now I didn’t receive any complaints from parents about my hygiene or meals. I was sharing all the updates with parents that was needed. I am happy to get suggestions from parents as I want to work with parents in a good partnership, but I also have my own opinions and I expect to be respected as I have my own privacy. To be honest, just as a human being I did help him and his children more than a childminder does, Unfortunately he didn’t appreciated that.

Amazing Childminder in NW9!

We cannot recommend Sonia enough. She is a warm, caring and very experienced childminder. We know that our daughter is being well taken care of and in safe hands when in the setting and we receive regular updates with pictures about the activities and games our child participates in. Our daughter has also bonded really well with Sonia’s youngest daughter. Sonia’s house is also well resourced with plenty of toys and activities for children to play and get busy with. Sonia is also good at encouraging children to interact with each other in a kind and respectful way.
Finally, we found Sonia very understanding and supportive when we were trying to set up our childcare account and we really appreciate her patience while we got it sorted.

Very helpful and excellent child minder

Sonia is the most patient person I have seen. She takes care of my boy very well as he everyday looking forward to go to her place. I really appreciated that she treat my baby as good as her own. We all like her a lot.

Extremely Helpful and Caring Childminder.

Sonia has been an amazing childminder, she is unlike any other childminder and what sets her apart is how caring, loving and responsive she is towards us and other kids I have seen her deal with. My child is always excited to go to her and when being picked up all the kids are still happy and excited and just loves Sonia so much. Her house is very clean, all the food is almost always prepared from scratch at her house, which is amazing. I am always update throughout the day and she's been extremely flexible and helpful throughout the week. Potty Training has been amazing with her help, just overall the confidence she helps children build is phenomenal. She doesn't get enough credit for how amazing her and her family truly are. I feel safe and at peace having her around my child.
