A home from home

Our son started with Michelle when he was 12 months, and she was one of the first people to know that we were expecting our daughter as I knew I didn't want her to go anywhere else. She truly is outstanding in every way.

Both my children have been happy here and our daughter continues to enjoy her days here. I love looking at the photos and descriptions of what they have done and using that to talk to her about her day. Michelle has created a safe, secure and homely environment that helps young children thrive.

She has helped us through tantrums and potty training, with shared approaches (and advice!) as well as family difficulties such as hospital stays and the birth of a new sibling. I cannot recommend her enough!

They both have exceptional characters and always make us smile. There isn't a day that goes by without cheeky smiles and cute mannerisms that brings a warmth to our hearts. Our 2 little devils ...

In simple terms we can’t speak highly enough of Michelle and the service that she offers.

Our first child Jack spent his infant years at Ledston following a recommendation from a mutual friend and the biggest compliment we can give is that we didn’t even consider any other form of childcare for our 2nd son Joshua who currently spends three happy days a week there.

I’d be surprised if there’s another childcare service in the surrounding areas that can offer the facilities, layout and level of service that Michelle and Andrew provide.

It may sound horrible but we don’t give our kids a second thought whilst at work as we know that they are having fun and being looked after properly !!!

Fully recommended childminder

Our daughter has been going to Michelle's for 3 days a week childcare for 8 months now and loves going there. She is always greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome and is always excited to go to Michelle's.

As parents we feel extremely happy with the service Michelle and her partner Andrew provide. The setting is extremely well maintained, with lots of exciting toys and imaginative play and the outside play area is excellent. Our daughter often brings home pictures and crafts they have been doing during the day and is always full of enthusiasm and chatters away on her way home. It is also clear that Michelle genuinely cares for and places a lot of importance in a warm and caring environment for all the children she looks after. She is always very encouraging and positive about our daughter yet encourages her to understand and respect boundaries.

We get regular updates with a daily diary that includes pictures of activities and useful info e.g. what has been eaten that day etc. and Michelle is very approachable if needed. We would fully recommend Michelle as a childminder.

An Excellent Childminder

Jack loves going to michelles for the day :-), he settled in really well and I love the book (and photos) of what he has been up to all day. he loves all the toys and his friends there he is always excited to go and has fun every week!

Outstanding Childcare

Michelle is a truly outstanding childminder. The service she provides is not only outstanding in line with Ofsted's definition but also outstanding to a parent whom I think is the most important critic. She provides a loving and caring atmosphere where children feel important and supported in their physical and overall learning development. She listens, directs and encourages children and also provides a variety of fun activities to keep the children entertained. When we moved house Michelle supported my son with this transition and when our pet died she also talked to our son about what had happened and this was in line with what we had told him. Our son loves going to see 'Shell', he cheers when we arrive and he talks about what he has done on the way home (well the odd word in a lot of two year old type chatter!) . He returns home with lots of things that he has made and also he has enjoyed three healthy meals. As a teacher myself, I can recognise a lot of the very important things that Michelle is doing to help my son develop and as a parent I love the fact that he is loved and cared for. Any child who has Michelle as a childminder will be incredibly lucky.
