I’m not sure that any review I could write would do Clare justice - We could not imagine anyone better to look after our boys. Our eldest, Dylan, has been going to Clare’s since he was 5 months old & his younger brother, Henry, has just joined him there too. Clare is incredibly welcoming & helped us to adjust to leaving Dylan with her initially as well as helping him to settle in & then later the adjustment for Dylan & Henry for them both to attend together. She is always very responsive to messages & really helped to put my mind at ease that they are being well cared for.
Dylan has flourished over his time with Clare. Clare is fantastic at identifying what each child enjoys & then activities or trips are tailors to engage those interests – which for Dylan has meant lots of things about trains. They complete lots of engaging educational activities where the children are learning without realising. As well as them learning essential skills like sitting still for stories, how to put on their coats, turn taking etc etc. Dylan is always excited to go to Clare’s in the morning & runs up to the door – he really feels part of the family & valued in his time there, he calls her 'My Clare'. There is always something fun planned, whether they are staying in setting, going to a toddler group or going out on an adventure somewhere. Clare is very conscious of adequate risk assessments & nothing is left to chance – so we know our children are well protected & looked after when they are with her.
Clare sends plenty of photos at lunchtime & the end of the day so we can see what the children have been up to - alongside their online diary entry – which we love. It really feels more like we have been a part of their day & can actively talk to them about what they have done as they are too young to remember all by themselves. They are a lovely pick me up in the middle of a busy work day too.
Clare has always been receptive to our thoughts & how we want events to be explained to the Children for example Easter or Christmas, as well as working with us to find the best strategy for coping with any unwanted behaviours or the best way for our children of deescalating a tantrum.
Clare is very well deserving of her Ofsted Outstanding. I could go on & on about what we appreciate about Clare & her setting - we love you Clare!

I do my best to support families in my care, because I want childcare to be the least of your worries.
It has been a pleasure to work alongside you. We have the very similar values and this makes working together towards shared goals for the children achievable. Your support is invaluable.
I love taking care of the children. They are stimulating, and rewarding. We have a lot of fun together.
I really do have the best job in the world!
No matter what I write here I don't think I will be able to do Clare the justice she deserves. I can tell you that Outstandings at Ofsted are now so rarely given out, it really means something that she deservedly was awarded this status last year. She is the legend that keeps our family glued together.
Clare is not only the best childminder in the world (or at the very least the South of England), she is also the best Mum which you can tell from her fantastic grown up children. Her experience and knowledge of children seems endless. If you want your child to have the best start in life, and to be the best versions of themselves - here it is. She looked after my gorgeous, mischievous, incredibly active, determined little girl and brought out the very awesome best in her. Orla was made to feel truly valued and loved, and she was prepared so well for school - teaching manners, fairness, kindness and educating her, pushing her inquisitive side and acquisition of knowledge. So many trips to exciting places (I now have had to buy annual passes to the zoo because we have to see the butterflies still), every day is so much fun for the kids. Clare also speaks to the children so well, the clarity of Orla's speech is not down to us!!
We have three children, are both teachers and a wealth of experience of childcare/providers. Clare is the best.

If looking for a childminder in the leighton buzzard area, the search is over ...
Our daughter Sofia was with Clare on a full time basis from when she was 9 months until she began school in September this year.
We chose Clare due to her warm and caring nature snd strong family values and never looked back.
Clare regularly took her mindees on exciting outings to the local area such as Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable Downs and Rushmere Country Park to name a few. Regular play dates and weekly toddler groups also ensured that Sofia made friends outside of the family too.
There were always lots of fun activities at Clare's home too like cooking and crafts. Special occasions and celebrations were noted to often contribution to the themes.
Clare's meals were always healthy and delicious with a few occasional treats too.
Clare background in education and further studying has helped prepare Sofia for school. She has helped mould a happy confident, well mannered child who knows through Clare's guidance that she can achieve her dreams.
As a family Clare has always been there in times of need and we have worked together when issues such as behaviour, fussy eating etc has arisen to secure a solution.
As happy as we are to see Sofia growing and off to school, it was with real sadness that we had to say goodbye to Clare but we know she will be in our lives for many years to come.

Clare is the most amazing childminder, she is warm, engaging, loving and incredibly bright- she does not miss a thing! She creates a stimulating, home-from-home environment for the children and is very encouraging, always praising their good behaviour. Clare always seems to be thinking about each child she cares for as an individual and how to make the time spent with her as interesting as possible. Clare worries about those in her care as if they were her own and her kind heart shines through (when I was struggling at my work she used to send me emails about my babies day called 'lifeboats' to help me). We honestly could not recommend Clare highly enough.

Clare was my childminder for nearly 2 years and my children loved being in her care. Clare is very flexible and reliable and I cannot thank her enough for all she did for my children and me. I would recommend her highly.

My wife and I relocated to Leighton Buzzard in September 2014 and at the top of our list was finding a suitable childminder for our 1 year old daughter. From the start Clare showed what a caring, and thoughtful childminder she was, by turning up at our new home with a birthday present for our little girl, who she hadn't even started minding yet!
Well that set the tone for what has been an amazing partnership with Clare, and she really has become a friend. Our daughter has grown, developed, and progressed beyond our expectations while being with Clare. The insightful day trips, combined with constant fun and excitement have contributed to our daughter becoming a delightful toddler.
Clare is always willing to go the extra mile, and has helped us out on many occasions. Her flexibility and understanding makes our relationship with her less like business, and more like pleasure. Her own family is testament to her abilities as a mother and home maker, with each of them being as delightful and friendly as her.
We cannot wait (if space permits) to send our baby son to join our daughter in childcare with Clare. Having the both of them with her will certainly leave us feeling confident in their growth, development, and social interaction. A great, professional, and extremely experienced childminder, and now also, friend.

You are such a lovely family to work with, always considerate and supportive of my plans for your child, making our working partnership a pleasure, which in turn promotes a confidence within your child.
Happily for me, my job is a joy, as is looking after the children entrusted to my care. I aim to do my best for them always, as their progress and contentment is my is my goal, providing me with great satisfaction and pride.

Our 3 year old daughter Sofia has been with Clare since she was 9 months. In this time we have all grown to live and appreciate Clare as one of our family.
Clare has been a wonderful childminder her different daily activities and groups mean Sofia is always stimulated and enjoys something new every day. Trips to the zoo, soft play, mead open farm are just a taste off what is included in Clare's care.
Meals provided are varied and well balanced with something to offer even the fussiest of eaters.
Clare does not just offer a childminding service, she has been incredibly supportive in Sofias development from help with potty training to speech difficulties. She supports any decision we make and offers but never pushes her own opinion.
The communication between ourselves and Clare is fantastic and I love to see the many pictures that are sent to me daily. It is lovely too see how sofia spends her day and makes sure feel part of it.
Sofia thinks every family has a "Clare" and loves her as part of hers.
Anyone would be lucky to have Clare mind their child and I plan to have Clare in our lives for several years to come.

Thank you, what a lovely review. It's easy to do my job when the families that I care for are so supportive of my choices, and accepting of plans I put in place for their children.
I am so fortunate to have been able to build such a wonderful, mutually respectful and supportive relationship with you and your child, which has made the last three years fly by!
Our partnership has produced wonderful experiences for your child, and has secured the prospect of a magnificent future for her too.
It's is my pleasure, and joy to provide this service for you.
My son went to Clare for just over a year, but it would have been forever had we not moved out of the area!
My son loved going to Clare, she catered for his every need, making sure he was safe, cared for and comfortable with every activity that she did with them. She provided a wide range of activities and toys for the children, taking into account any special interests each child had.
Throughout the day Clare would send us updates and pictures of what the children got up to during the day, and also wrote in the 'daily diary' so I was always informed of what was going on.
Clare was not only a childminder but also a friend to me, she always accommodated any extra hours I needed and supported me personally and supported the choices I made as a parent.
I never had any doubts or worries about leaving my son in her care, and both me and my son were very sad to leave her and her wonderful family.

Honestly, its so frustrating to write Clare's review because we NEVER wanted to leave from her!!
But I must do this for repaying my gratitude for her and can't stop wishing her happiness which is "childminding".
I was very apprehensive if my daughter and son could get along well with their childminder at very first.
However, they just loved so much going to her house everyday for a lot of activities, her lovely food and also they enjoyed to see all of her family- it was just like their second family/home.
My daughter was so upset when I had to tell them they would be no longer in her care... she is still having her hope to go back to Clare's in very near future.
My son had hated his reading/writing but he enjoyed so much doing them with Clare, actually his behavior got so much better now after he started being with Clare.
Clare's originality and ingenuity for childminding is based on her solid experience so that my children were benefited in various way.
I would highly recommend Clare as she is very fair, flexible and I always found how she loves caring children so that I went to work without any worries or guilt (as a mum) for my children.
I was also supported so much by her, I can't express everything how I appreciate all of her help.
For the last note, we miss you so much Clare and all of your lovely family!!

The children and I always had so much fun, and caring for them was an education for me too, as they instructed me on the various aspects dancing "gangnam style" and told me wonderful stories about their trips to Japan and taught me about Japanese culture.
The children were always impeccably well behaved and they were an absolute credit to you, making taking care of them a delight.
It wa a pleasure to feed them too, as they always enjoyed their food, which was very satisfying for me.
I am confident that the children have bright futures ahead of them, and look forward to hearing news of their success.

We found Clare to be very friendly and welcoming and she treated our son like one of her own.
Our son loved spending time at Clare’s as he got to experience lots of different activities and toys.
Clare was very adaptable to ours and our child’s needs and would also make recommendations to us based on the time that he spent in her care.
There was always a variety of different themes that the children played with and Clare rotates these on a daily basis to ensure they are getting a varied range of toys and learning experiences.
Clare took our son to lots of groups and spent quality time with him teaching him about his surroundings, as well as getting creative.
When with Clare our son grew in confidence and he had no issues with being left on a daily basis. He very much looked forward to spending time at Clare’s and got very excited when we arrived outside!
What I liked about Clare is that it’s not just about playing with toys but she found lots of other things and activities for our son to do that was educational as well as fun. I have no doubt that the time my son spent with Clare will be invaluable for when he starts his early education.
I would highly recommend Clare as a childminder, she is very capable and had an enthusiasm for caring for our child, which was so very important to us when we had to go out to work. Knowing that he was being cared for and emotionally supported whilst we couldn’t be there was second to none.
