Both my boys went to Sophia and her lovely family from 10 months to 3 years old. I have found her to be warm, caring, fair and very patient with them and with me. She has great integrity and I wholeheartedly recommend her!

My two girls were with Sophia as their first source of any childcare post-pandemic, and they absolutely loved going to Sophia’s house. Sophia always treated us with care, quality, kindness, skill, & most importantly—calm! She has a wonderful warmth and calm about her that rubs off on kiddos and family when having wear drop offs or pick ups. She helped our family through a very difficult transition period and we are forever grateful! My girls still mention her very often “we can see Sophia!”.

Sophia is a wonderful and caring childminder. Our son started with her at 11 months and finished when he was 3. From the first settling in period Sophia was kind and helpful with any worries we had, and our son settled in incredibly easily. She performed miracles in getting him to nap there! It’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere and felt like dropping him at a friend’s house: a real home from home. She did all sorts of interesting activities and playgroups with him, and he always had a varied and fun time. In fact he still asks if he could go back now, at 5!

We have a 10 year old boy and have known Sophia since his nursery years where she worked at the time. As our son got older she worked as an after school nanny for us until she set up her childminding business. To this day, we use her childminding help during school holidays and our son loves playing at her house. She is extremely reliable, kind, patient and very engaging with children, always offering a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, trips to the playground and Eddie Catz. We highly recommend her!

Sophia has been looking after my two kids after school for a year now, and they are really happy with her and her own two lovely children. They look forward to going every week (not always the case for previous after-school settings, by any means!) and Sophia always makes sure they're doing something fun - playing board games, making muffins, dressing up, drawing and creating, playing outside in the garden, or just reading and relaxing. She also takes them to the playground on sunny days, and sometimes to the library. She takes feedback on board and is always cheerful, calm, kind, and a pleasure to be around. Due to my working hours changing, I probably won't need childcare in the next school year, and the children and I will be sad not to have her as a childminder. So if you need childcare, snap her up! She is fantastic.

My son who's now 10 has been with Sophia for nearly five years and will still be with her for a while yet.
Sophia is a 100% reliable, always informative on how my sons afternoon has been and Zen feels its a home from home;her children are so lovely and well mannered, she is the perfect childminder!
Trips to the park, art activity's and healthy food is on offer and Sophia does it all with a big smile!
Sophia has a large garden and the children all have a choice of playing outside.
I would highly recommend Sophia to anyone, Zen and I will be sad when the time comes when Zens off to secondary school and no longer needed.
Do not hesitate to contact Sophia, she is a FANTASTIC A star childminder and a wonderfully kind and genuine person.

Sophia looked after both my boys over a period of 2 years. She picked up my older one from Ravenstone and had my little one during the day from when he was 12 months. They both adored her and her lovely daughter (who my boys adopted as big sister) and enjoyed the family environment that Sophia created. We have moved on in our childcare arrangements to fit our varied working patterns but whenever there is a need for me to look for nanny, the first thing my older son says is 'why can't we go back to Sophia?'. Although it's been a while since I personally used Sophia, we still see her at Ravenstone pick up time, happily playing with the children she is collecting, and we still greet her with so much warmth and fondness. We lucked out with Sophia - she cared about my boys' development and supported them in this. I later found out not all childminders are like this. I hope this reference helps another parent who, like me, wants assurance that my children are cared for when you have to work.
