My son started here at the beginning of July and he absolutely loves going. The staff have done everything they can to make sure that he has settled in after being at home with me for so long during the lockdown. The communication is excellent and I have been made to feel really at ease and comfortable with leaving my baby there, especially as he is my first. I could have asked for anything more from them! Huge thank you to all at Little Gemz, you're amazing!!

We are so happy that you have given us your trust to look after your little one thank you for your kind words

In June 2019 the nursery my daughter had been attending was closed due to financial cut backs. As soon as I was made aware this was happening I began my search for a new place for her. Travelling was no issue as long as the EYPS were friendly and the nursery was well structured.
I bounced around with a few ideas but then decided to do a surprise visit to Little Gemz to see if the EYPS were as pleasant in person as they were over the phone. I had called because I couldn't actually locate the building and arranged an appointment for the following day.
I turned up 30minutes after my phone call to a very warm welcome and a viewing around the nursery. Considering I just turned up I was offered well structured routines and information about the nursery and the service it provides to all the child placed there.
I left feeling happy that I had arranged some taster sessions.
When I returned for the taster sessions my daughter settled immediately within the new surroundings and seemed at ease with all EYPS who were present that day. I again had daily routines and educational plans for my daughter's age group explained with enthusiasm and a genuine passion for the opportunity to support and help develop her in readiness for starting Primary school.
The nursery manager and deputy made themselves known and have always ensured they're easily approached. The deputy manager is always involved in the day to day activities and can been seen playing a big role within the nursery setting.
I feel comfortable in saying that every child placed at this nursery is just as important as the next and all of the EYPS enjoy their roles and are seen to be passionate about the safety and support of all of the children placed with them.
I am extremely happy that I chose this nursery for my daughter and I can not thank all of the lovely EYPS enough for the encouragement and support they have shown my daughter.

Hi Vandabab

We are so pleased that you appreciate our setting and it has been a pleasure to educate your Daughter in the time you have been with us.

I am especially pleased that we have made such an impression on you we pride ourselves on being a small but caring nursery with a homely feel and each child is treated exactly the same and shown love , encouragement and support every step of the way until we unfortunately have to say goodbye when they leave us for school.

Thank you again

Love all at Little Gemz (Milton)

I called to arrange a possible booking and viewing for my son for every Monday. They told me they wouldn’t do one day a week over the phone. I then received a message via the website from the nursery, which was intended for someone else. Then a second message from them to apologise for the first message, as they had copied and pasted it. I replied saying that I had tried to call them to look at availability for my son, but they refused to allow him to attend one day a week.
The reply I got was, that a child would not benefit for one day a week and it can be very unsettling for them.
I’m a single parent, finishing my maternity leave to go and work 2 days a week. I have a family member to take him for one day so I needed childcare for the 2nd day. Only to be told it isn’t going to benefit him and it will be quite unsettling. I feel awful enough having to leave my baby to go to work enough as it is. What am I to do. 2x5 hour sessions isn’t good enough because I’ll be at work for 8 hours. Now I’m doubting to go back to work. I don’t want my son to feel like that.
And the worst of it is, the last part of their message was ....sorry Hun x....
Thank for making me feel a rubbish parent !

The intention wasn't to make you feel that way we appologise however nursery policy is written for the benefit of the child and their learning journey through the nursery until it's time to go to school. School readiness is what we aim for so that every child leaves us ready for that next step., part of that is continuity and routine thats why we ask for more than 1 day or 1 session and I call everyone hun so if this offends then I apologise.
