Laura has been taking care of our 5 year old son as a part time nanny for 2 years and has been fantastic : reliable, dependable and always happy to help. Laura is also flexible and has always been able to adapt to our hours - often with short notice - as both my partner and I are working. She was great playing, singing, telling stories ...... and educating our son who loves her. Our son also enjoys playing with Laura's son, nephew and niece and was very happy and proud looking after her little daughter. Sharing some time with them was also a great learning opportunity for our son. Laura's family is wonderful and always happy to help and provide support.
It was a great chance for us to have met Laura and her family.
Unfortunately, as we go back to France this summer, we will not be able to keep Laura as a Nanny but we will keep in touch and make sure to remain in close contact. We will lose a precious Nanny but we will host new family members.
I would highly recommend Laura to take care of your children and wholeheartedly thank her for all what she has done for the last 2 years.

Laura has worked for us for the last 4.5 years, looking after our 2 boys since they were babies. We have also had two successful nanny shares with Laura during that period, in which she has looked after a little girl at the same time as our eldest son in the one share, and a baby boy at the same time as both of our boys in the other share.
Laura has seen all of these kids through weaning/transition to solid foods, learning to walk, learning manners, toilet training, school runs, homework help, and all the other fun stuff that goes inbetween. She is firm but loving, and children all listen to her like they never listen to their parents! ;)
I would sum up Laura by saying that she is totally capable, totally dependable, and totally loves children. She is the heart of our local nanny community, knowing all parents, nannies and kids in the local park, and comfortably bridges the nanny/parent divide.
We are heartbroken to be parting ways with Laura, but we no longer need a full time nanny now that both boys are at school.
