Heidi deserves an award as she had cancer and she struggled to continue with her childcare commitment as the chemotherapy was too much to handle. A year later after the recovery and she is continuing as a childminder. When i first met her, she was lovely and welcoming and made me feel at home due to the fact i have severe mental health issues. She looks after my sister in law, who is always excited to go to Heidis house and always tells me about her days with her. I have the complete privilage of knowing her and she is the most deserving person for this award.

Heidi looks after my little sister, and she always comes back as happy as ever. She’s constantly learning new things with heidi and loves going to heidis too.

If my 3 year old daughter could write a review it would knock this sideways because she would have amazingly fantastic things to say about her Heidi. Heidi literally is an extended part of our family. My daughter has been going to ‘Heidi’s house’ for two and a half years. And ‘Heidi’s house’ is the best place for fun. Trips to zoos, mums and tots, library, watching aeroplanes, nature trails, parks, outdoor play, indoor play centres, activity groups.... Heidi takes my daughter everywhere and anywhere. Space travel may not yet be available to children and childminders but that doesn’t stop Heidi she would encourage children’s imagination to take them to space instead. The places my daughter goes too are so thought out. Even just a spontaneous trip to a cafe because the children ask and Heidi allows them to make choices and helps them fulfil their needs and turns the situation into something fun and where they can learn out of it too. ‘Heidi’s house’ has playrooms and adventures all around it. If I didn’t have to work I would stay at Heidi’s House to play.
The care my daughter receives exceeds my expectations. When my daughter is ill Heidi has been on the phone and sends happy cheerful messages from herself and the other children to cheer my child up. And Heidi has never been off sick not once. In two and half years. Never been late or let me down. I have had issues with tax credits for childcare and Heidi has supported us and helped and waited for payment. And not once has she ever ever let us down. Every day once the children have gone home she sends me pictures of my daughter so I get to share in the fun my daughter had. She frames my daughters work so I can hang it on the wall. Heidi is the comfort and love a child needs when their mummy is at work.
My daughter talks about Heidi at home a lot too. Heidi is special to my daughter. My daughter is blessed with all these wonderful experiences. Heidi takes a story and turns it into an adventure where feelings and imagination come into life. She makes little things special.
But she is always there for my child in every way. And never lets her down. Heidi is kind, patient, deals with tantrums like a saint! She is more than deserving of an award. We love you Heidi and thank you for all you do. Louise and Maisie x
