About Us
Conifers is an independent co-educational school for children aged 2-13 in Midhurst, West Sussex. We are a non-selective school which provides a varied curriculum to all pupils, including outdoor education, Forest School, music, art and craft and up to 5 hours of sport. From Reception upwards our pupils begin to study languages and from Year 1 each child takes a weekly swiming lesson.
We offer support and extension sessions to enable children to achieve their highest potential . Our Performaning Arts department is flourishing, with many pupils taking LAMDA lessons and individual music tuition. This enables the school to host four choirs and an orchestra. Pupils often perform in recitals and school performances.
Our extra curricular programme is extensive, with pupils taking part in activities such as cookery, football, archery, judo, coding, tap dancing, ballet, rugby, fencing, sewing, jewellery making, reomte controlled car club, pupil news club, eco club, art, netball, running, modern dance, spanish, chess, board games, goblin car club, touch typing, adventure club and singing.
Our Childcare Provision
Conifers offers an extended day for children in their pre-reception year- pupils may be dropped to school at 8am and collected at 5.15pm. From Year 1 upwards children can take part in a variety of clubs. There is a small charge for these sessions above the standard school fee.
Early morning drop off is £1 per pupil per session, after school care is £3 per half hour
After School Clubs £55 per term for Conifers pupils, £65 per term for non-Conifers pupils, except Adventure Club - £75 per term for Conifers pupils, £85 per term for non-Confiers pupils.
