About Me
Hi I run little vales childminding at westvale park in Horley. Close to Gatwick airport and east surrey hospital. I am married and We have 2 children a daughter 18 years old who is currently away at university and a 13 year old son who loves to play football. I enjoy arts and crafts and being out in the fresh air visiting parks and national trust properties. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
My Experience
I have 22 years of childcare experience. I gained my diploma in childcare in 2000 and from there worked in a private day nursery where I quickly became the baby unit leader caring for 18 under 2 year olds and leading a team of 6 practitioners. I then became a childminder to care for my own family alongside, I cared for various children of ages ranging from 2 months up to the age of 8 years. I then became a nanny for 6 years for two families with children aged 1 year to 12 years. I was then made redundant due to Covid-19 and returned to a private day nursery where I was once again a baby room leader with up to 22 babies under 18 months old. I have now re registered as a childminder in my new home at westvale park and I am very excited to continue the extremely rewarding career of being a childminder.
