My Summary
About Me

In the past I have used a childminder myself so understand the importance of the momentous decision about where to place your most precious bundle of joy.
I am married to Steve and we have 2 adult children, Jake and Holly and we have a Westiepoo called Bella and a Jackapoo called Daisy.
I have been childminding in Bicester since 2001. Before becoming a childminder I was a SNCO Statistical Analyst in the Royal Air Force for 17 years. I cater for school runs to Bure Park Primary School.
My Experience
I regularly attend a child orientated First Aid course and Specialist Safeguarding course and are CRB checked as required by Ofsted. In July 2004 I completed a 2-year college course to achieve my CACHE level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice (CCP).
In July 2007 I completed my evaluation training to become an Accredited Childminder, able to offer Early Years Entitlement (EYE) and receive government nursery vouchers for the 15 hours free early education for all 3 year olds and if you are entitled, I offer the 30 hours which began in September 2017. In April 2013 I completed my evaluation training to also offer funded Two Year Old Entitlement (TYE) which is available to children meeting certain criteria from September 2013.
I have also attended a wide variety of courses, seminars and workshops for which the certificates are in my portfolio.

We are parents of a baby that stays with Ali 40 hours a week for the last 14 months. When our baby started, she was 1 year old and from the day one she has never cried when we leave her with Ali. This means a lot for us! Our baby learns a lot of different and interesting things with Ali, learns to play and communicate with other toddlers and with older kids as well. Basically Ali's home is like a big family. Kids on different ages, rules, kindness and happiness. The place is very clean, full of toys and Ali provides many activities in order to improve to "sharing play" and to gain some learning milestones.

Ali looks after my soon since he was 18 months, as first time parents we felt very important Ali support in every stage of this very incredibly journey. My son is now 3 years old and looking forward to go to nursery school she is now helping him to get ready for nursery school. We couldn’t ask for anything else 🥰 Her place is very clean and child friendly 🥰

My boys have been going to ali's for 6 years now
My boy's started at the age of 4 and it was the best move I made , ali was very welcoming and understanding, ali made sure the boys had a settling in session and made them feel very welcome into her home.
My boys love going to ali's they have met some lovely friends.
At ali's they do different activities every day and there are lots of different toys games and outdoor activities to do.
My boys have learnt so much at ali,s on how to be polite and responsible and respect each other.
Ali goes above and beyond to help me and my boys in many different ways.
I also work with children and would highly recommend ali to anybody that asks me for childcare advice.

My son is 3 years old and we asked Ali to help for 6 weeks as we did not have childcare for the Summer holidays. Ali’s setting is lovely and very clean, there are lots of toys to play with.
Sadly my son’s experience was not a positive one. In less than 12hrs looking after him, here are the things that Ali complained about:
That he was upset when we left him for the first time with her.
That he was chewing too loud.
That he was not using her preferred sentence to ask for things, i.e “Can I have (this toy, an extra biscuit, water) please?”.
That he was too agitated when playing.
That she did not have time to deal with his emotions because there were other children around and it was not fair to them.
That he was scared of the other children.
That he was scared to play with the other children at the park.
That he was scared to use her washroom (which he had never seen the inside of, and that she did not take the time to show him). That our son wasn't fully potty trained was not very much welcomed well.
That he was too noisy (yet he was also quiet and scared).
He was refused to an extra biscuit (his biscuits) when he asked for one, on the bases that he had already finished his lunch (and I assume not asking the right way).
Finally I was sent a video of him sobbing, with a simple statement that he would not stop crying. I haven't seen him in that state with us, family, friends, or the childminder who looked after him for the past 2 1/2 years. I do believe this is normal for a toddler to be unfamiliar in an unfamiliar place, even though I appreciate it's not easy to look after a child who's unhappy.
We went to pick him up only to be told "he is doing my head in". Great.
Again, the setting is great and there probably would be positives to write would we have had a better experience, especially considering Ali's excellent OFSTED recommendations.
We did not find the warmth, joy and care we were looking for (I didn't see another child smile anytime I was there mind you that should have been a clue) and felt we were bothering her more than anything. Business seems to be business indeed.

As a professional I am not going to dignify this malicious and untrue review by refuting every inaccuracy.
But just to say that I am a highly qualified, 4 times Ofsted outstanding child minder with over 20 years experience and have nurtured and cared for countless dozens of wonderful children throughout my career and have received fabulous reviews from extremely satisfied parents.
