About Me
I am a fully qualified childcare professional that has worked in the industry for over 5 years now. I am a career nanny and also have a multitude of other professional experience within the childcare sector.
I have a special interest in SEN and would love to one day be a respite foster carer.
I love planning and providing a varied array of activities and experiences, appropriate for a child’s age and stage of development. From baking homemade bread to a fun filled day at the farm, I believe that a busy child is a happy child.
My Experience
My background is from working within day nurseries, before, during and a year and a half after qualifying. I moved on from this during the pandemic to be a temporary nanny for a family of 4 from my nursery. I have been nannying ever since, filling gaps in my schedule with nursery work for 6 years now.
Other work I carried out was being a PA for a young adult with additional needs on an AD/HOC basis.
After this role I nannied for a family with two school aged children before/after school in the week and nannied regularly on the weekend for an 11 month old baby.
I then secured a full time position being a nanny/housekeeper for a family of 6. The children were 7,5,2 and 12 weeks old when I joined. This family home educated and lived an alternate lifestyle.
Most recently I was splitting my week between working in an Ofsted outstanding nursery in Haywards Heath (baby room) and nannying for a lovely family in Burgess Hill with 1 baby on a Monday and Tuesday.
I am currently working full time so evening babysitting and weekend availability only
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 (EYE) childcare and education diploma
Full paediatric first aid certificate
Enhanced DBS check
Child protection and safeguarding level 2
Various CPD certificates
Public Liability insurance
Willing to OFSTED register

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
All fees are negotiable depending on requirements.
As a guide:
I charge £150-£250 day rate for events, for example a wedding.
Ad hoc/one-off nannying rate is negotiable.
Babysitting is £25 for 2 hrs £40 for 4 hrs Before 12am. Presuming all children sleep through the night, I then charge £10 for each additional half hour after midnight. Over night rate negotiable.
Weekends/bank holiday an additional £5 flat fee applies.
