Our two girls aged 2 and 3 started going to Amanda's in July 2016 for summer holiday cover from playgroup and nursery. They have thrived from her care with fun and structured activities every day including painting, dressing up, face painting, movement, singing and playing outside on the great range of equipment.
We have carried on with some after school pick ups and as i'm heavily pregnant with a condition which affects my mobility Amanda has been so accommodating picking the girls up at the last minute sometimes and having them until after our agreed time. She also offered us cover in case I go into labour as we have no family close by.
We'll definitely be sending our baby to Amanda next year and I can't speak highly enough of her.

We cannot speak less about Amanda and the help she has given towards our family.Having researched a lot regarding childcare options I was in a dilemma between Childmnder and Aupair.
The moment the spoke to Amanda I knew it would work.she gave me lot of confidence which made my decision easy.
My kids have been with Amanda since March 2016 and they both love going to her place.
My kids elder one 6 and younger one 15 months took to Amanda pretty quickly.
Amanda did her best to cater to our needs. She worked with me as a family and helped look after our kids.i cannot praise her less for the energy and enthusiasm towards childcare.
More ever with my husband being away on fellowship for 12 months she has been very accommodative with regards to help during nights and long days.
My little one has become very social able,interactive and independent after going to Amanadas.
We shall continue to be with Amanda as long as we are in Newcastle.
I could not ask for anyone else with regards to childcare.We strongly recommend her.

My two sons started at Children4us in May, and I am very pleased with the care that my children have received. Amanda and her team are caring and professional. The childcare setting is safe, clean, tidy, and accommodating for children of all ages. Amanda provides a great variety of activities on a regular basis, of which are educational to my children. They are provided with healthy nutritious meals and snacks. Amanda provides the flexibility that many childcare settings don't, and has never failed to meet my needs as a working parent. My eldest (4 year old) always had positive things to say about his day when coming home, and is always excited to go back. Amanda and her team work very hard to ensure that the highest standards of childcare are met, and Amanda often goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is happy, which I couldn't rate high enough. I have piece of mind everytime I leave my children with Amanda that they are safe, and happy.

I want to thank Amanda for her great help. I had so much help from her for taking care of lena and supporting me as a parent.
My daughter loves going to Amanda . My daughter has no sibling so loves being with Amanda's children playing with them and spending some time with them as well. We drop my child before 7 am as we work in hospital setting and pick her up sometimes at 8:00 pm !

Our son Justin started at the childminder 10 months old and has loved it from the start. The amount of activities that happen in a day is amazing and the progression of him has been amazing. I would recommend Amanda Lane and her Staff to everyone. Every day I know my son is safe and enjoying himself.

Amanda and her four lovely assistants have looked after our 16 month old little boy since September. Our son is really settled and is very eager to go to Amanda for a cuddle in the morning when we drop him off. This is a huge weight off our mind because, until he was one, he was only used to being looked after by my husband and myself. We are very pleased he settled so well and so quickly. Amanda and her team provide a varied day of activities including lots of arts and crafts, nursery rhymes, baking, walks out etc. Our son has brought home some lovely pieces of art which are great keepsakes (e.g. foot and handprint Santa and reindeer picture at Christmas). The home cooked food smells delicious and is nicely balanced -we think the meals are great value for money. Amanda has also been very flexible with the days we take our son to childcare (we do 3 days one week and 2 the next on a rota) -this is a massive plus for us. Another important point is that Amanda and her team ensure the children all act with respect towards each other, reminding them about sharing, using good manners and teaching them about personal space etc. Overall we are very happy with the way that our son is cared for by Amanda and her assistants and are pleased to pick up a (usually) happy smiling boy at the end of the day.

My son has been going to Amanda's for almost two years now and I can not fault the care he is given there. He is always excited that he is going which tells me exactly how much he loves it. I am always advised of the activities he has been part of each day (of which there are plenty to help develop and entertain him) and although he is a fussy eater, Amanda and the girls that assist her are very patient and understanding with him. All the girls are lovely and I have no worries leaving my child in their care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amanda to any one looking for a childminder.

Our daughter started with Amanda before her first birthday and has loved everyday! Amanda and her team of girls really look after my daughter well, keeping her busy with fun filled activities which allow her to develop. She meets plenty of other children of varying ages in a safe home environment!would fully recommend children 4 us.

I found Amanda due to this website, I read her profile and I gave her a call, she offered me a time to go and meet her and show me her home and talked to me about herself and the sort of things I would expect while my children was in her care.My children 1 , 4 and 5 old years girls had a fantastic time and they didn't want to go back home. Every week was fun filled with lots of educational and fun activities and outings.

My daughter has known Amanda since she was born, and Amanda treats her like she where one of her own. Thie fact my daughter is happy has allowed me to work longer hours confidently, leaving her with someone I can totally trust.
The time spent in Amandas care is well structured, which is not only fun but educational.
If Amanda has child spaces I wouldn't hesitate in recommending that you put your child into her care.
