My Summary

My Experience

I worked in a nursery for three years. in which time, i gained experience with children aged 3 months to five years. I worked as the second in charge within the preschool room, working alongside the room leader to manage a team of 6 staff, with capacity to hold 30 children. in addition to this role i also worked as a 1:1 carer three days a week within the nursery with a child who had additional needs.

I was the nurseries SEN and inclusion officer - working with different agencies and children with special educational needs and those with english as an additional language.

i have experience with children with a range of additional needs, including autism, prada-willi syndrome and behaviour difficulties.

I also have experience working in a school setting as a teaching assistant in reception class (children aged 5-6 years)

I have 7 years experience working within the maternity unit at a hospital, assisting with monitoring and care of the newborn and breastfeeding. A huge part of this role was assisting women through the antenatal, labour and postnatal periods.

For the last year I have been working within the ambulance service responding to emergency calls in emergency ambulances treating patients.

I do work full time so I am looking for adhoc work to be pre arranged depending on my shifts. Unfortunately I am unable to commit to regular day/evenings per week

My Qualifications

I have attended SEN training (Special Educational Needs) and have worked with children of different abilities.

I am fully CRB checked.
I have been First Aid trained including EpiPen and De-Fibrallation, this has expired. However due to my career i am fully aware of how to deal with injuries big and small but also willing to redo the course!

I also hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce.


I am willing to become Ofsted registered
