My Requirements

We are looking for an experienced nanny/housekeeper 2.5 days a week (ideally 2 full days (~7:30am-6:30pm) and 1 afternoon across Tues to Thurs) for our three children, starting from September. All three children will be at the same school in Beaconsfield - the youngest starting reception in September, and the older two kids going into years 4 and 5. We are looking for someone who can do a couple of school drops off a week, who can help with childcare-related light housework (the kids’ laundry, keeping bedrooms organised, occasional errands, kids’ meals etc) while the kids are at school and who can then collect the kids from school and bring them home or on to activities until 6:30pm.

We would love to find someone who is patient and nurturing but also who is able to create a fun and creative environment for the children. After school can often involve dropping to activities, or organising playdates, but it can also involve supporting the kids with homework and either doing activities (cooking, craft, lego, imaginary play) or relaxing at home. It would be great to find someone who is confident in juggling the different needs of children of different ages and who has some experience of this.

Flexibility isn’t essential, although owing to our commutes and occasional work travel, willingness to occasionally do some overtime beyond 6:30pm is helpful. Occasional babysitting would also be great! The kids’ school is around a mile from our house. However, some occasional activities are further afield and so a driving licence is ideal.
