Hello, I’m Vicky!
I am 28 years old and I live in Hull. I have had approximately 10 years volunteering and working with children from birth until 16. My experience has included ad hoc babysitting, caring 1-1, nursery practitioner and learning support assistant within a special needs school.
Most of my experience has been with toddler aged children and working with children (of all ages) with special needs.
I love to go out for walks, getting involved in arts and crafts (pinterest is my best friend!) and singing (not very well!).
My Experience
I began volunteering at a special needs school when I was 16. I then went on to study health and social care at college. My first paid job was as a 1-1 carer for children with special needs, also working at a school at the same time. After this I got a job looking after young adults with special needs, taking them out for the day and also caring for them within their home.
I left that to persue my career as a practitioner at a nursery. I had experience working with all ages within the nursery, however I was based in the 2-3 year old room.
I absolutely love working in childcare and I enjoy the challenges of it too!
My Qualifications
I enjoy learning on the job and have gained a lot of skills through my experiences over the years. I am First Aid trained, relevant DBS, BSL Level 1 and Makaton trained. I have Level 3 Health and Social Care, Level 3 CACHE Childcare and training courses such as safeguarding, epilepsy awareness and prevent duty training.
My Availability
I am available Mon - Fri. Looking for a full time nanny position. Available for babysitting depending on my availability.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
I usually charge £12 an hour but I am happy to discuss this based on your childcare needs!
