About Me
Family life with a teenage daughter and pets. We have a cat and have recently got a puppy. I have been working with children for over 20 years. Children are a joy and a privilege to work with. I am passionate about childcare, going for walks, messy play activities, a parent found the prospect of being in a room with 2 dozen 3 and 4 year olds so daunting that they asked me ‘why do you do this job?’ My answer then is my same answer today: ‘They are creative, ingenious, instinctive and somewhere along the way they grow up to become working adults. They are our doctors, teachers, engineers, farmers, nurses, childcare workers, bus drivers and train drivers. They become productive members of communities, each finding their way to contribute and it starts with people giving them the opportunites to learn and develop who they are, what they like, how to do things, and to learn why things happen. No 2 days are ever the same but they are fun!

My son has been going to Charmaine for the last year and 3 months.
Charmaine has taken great effort to make the play room a fun and educational space for the kids.
She regularly takes the kids out to Jo Jingles, various local play spaces as well as other local childminders so plenty of socialising for the kids.
I highly recommend Charmaine. She really loves the kids and has their best interests at heart.
