SEN experienced nanny - Owner of Mini Rocket Boosters.
As well as general childcare/nanny experience, I have great first hand experience and knowledge of working with children with Autism (including mild, servere and mute), Autistic children are my experties. I have also worked with ADHD and other neurological and physical disabilities from baby up to adult age, through milton keynes college and private nanny jobs. I also have achieved accredited diplomas in ADHD and ASD, I have a child mental health course achievement and an ABA certification and have completed BPS framework.
My knowledge and experties come through more with my physical work and guidance than on paper!
DUE TO A VERY HIGH DEMAND: I offer parents Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), which are tailor made sessions designed to support your child/ren and family with any behavioural issues - a professional service designed to help you before more high intense services are needed.
I use experienced based knowledge, a BPS framework, ABA stratagies and scientific research based stratagies.

A bit about me!
I am a very patient and devoted, fun mother of 2 boys of ages 15 and 17yrs. My eldest son has ASD and learning difficulties.
We are a very active family who spend allot of time outdoors and travelling (home and abroad!) but also have good fun indoors as well doing activities such as crafts, cooking and suitable age related educational games.
My Experience
I have been a professional nanny for 12 years and 11 of those years have been with autistic and/adhd children and their families, including home schooling.
My current full time nanny job is for a 6yr old servely Autistic girl, non-verbal with hypermobility and global developmental delay. I have worked with the family for 3 years.
I previously nannied for a severe ASD non-verbal child and her sibling after school, whom i have been with over 4yrs.
Previously I've been a nanny for an ASD 4yr old and 1yr old sibling, who i was with for 3yrs, an after school nanny for a family of 3 boys (1 with ADHD and 1 with Aspergers) and I was with them for 3 years and during day I was nannying for a 3yr old girl.
Other nannying jobs were caring for a 12yr old Autistic boy and a before and after school nanny for a 4/5yr old for 1 year.
My first nanny job was for a severely autistic 10 year old boy and although I had a long sucessful career in adult health and social care, It was this job that encouraged me to pursue a childcare career and helping those with challenging children who find it difficult to find childcare of any sort.
I get on well with children of all ages, am friendly, very calm, reliable, can problem solve and am fun yet professional in my approach and have the initiative/common sense to problem solve where there may be challenges.
I have remained with all my families until my services were no longer required due to the child/rens ages, school starts, or the families have moved area.
Although I have alot of ASD experience, I work very well with any child whether SEN or neurotypical.
My Qualifications
I have diplomas in ADHD, ASD and child mental health and an ABA certification.
I have a new DBS (Jan 2025),
Childcare level 3
Anaphylactic and asthma course (Sept 2024), Level 3 paediatric first aid (Jan 2025).
Currently studying child psychology and mental health in my spare time.
I also have health and social care qualifications (NVQ 3) for adult care which I did for 11 years.

Danielle had been looking after my 6year old for about 6months and we had a wonderful time with her. She had been
very punctual and professional to her role. She is polite, friendly and yet firm with children. She has good insight of how children behave in different situations and how to deal with it.
She is very well organised and ensures to have the whole time with children structured and does her best to make it productive. I certainly have seen my son growing well with her presence around. I wish her the best for her future endeavours and certainly highly recommend her in any childcare related role.
