SEN nanny - As well as general childcare experience, I have great first hand experience of working with children with Autism (including mild, servere and mute), Autistic children are my experties. I also work with ADHD and other neurological and physical disabilities from baby up to adult age, through milton keynes college and private nanny jobs. I also have achieved accredited diplomas in ADHD and ASD and I have a child mental health course achievement through MK college.
Happy to be a 'mothers help' also - house keeping duties.
I have an enhanced dbs check (new of Jan 2021). My paediatric first aid is currently being updated.
I was a registered nanny with ofsted but haven't been for the past 3yrs due to a job not requiring registration. Am happy to become registered again if required.
A bit about me!
I am a very patient and devoted, fun mother of 2 boys of ages 12 and 14yrs. My eldest son has ASD and learning difficulties.
We are a very active family who spend allot of time outdoors and travelling (home and abroad!) but also have good fun indoors as well doing activities such as crafts, cooking and suitable age related educational games.
My Experience
My last job was a full time nanny during the days for a 4yr old and a 1yr old.
After school, I nanny for a severe ASD child and her sibling, whom i have been with over 2yrs.
My last after school nanny job was after school for a family of 3 boys (1 with ADHD and 1 with Aspergers) and I had been with them for 3 years and during day I was general nannying for a 3yr old girl.
Previously have cared for a 12yr old Autistic boy and a before and after school nanny for a 4/5yr old for 1 year.
My first nanny job was for a severely autistic 10 year old boy and although I had a long sucessful career in adult health and social care, It was this job that encouraged me to pursue a childcare career and helping those with challenging children who find it difficult to find childcare of any sort.
I get on well with children of all ages, am friendly, very calm, reliable, can problem solve and am fun yet professional in my approach and have the initiative/common sense to problem solve where there may be challenges.
My Qualifications
I have diplomas in ADHD, ASD and child mental health.
I have an enhanced dbs (Jan 2021), childcare level 3 and have previously completed paediatric first aid.
I also have health and social care qualifications (NVQ 3) for adult care which I did for 11 years.

Danielle had been looking after my 6year old for about 6months and we had a wonderful time with her. She had been
very punctual and professional to her role. She is polite, friendly and yet firm with children. She has good insight of how children behave in different situations and how to deal with it.
She is very well organised and ensures to have the whole time with children structured and does her best to make it productive. I certainly have seen my son growing well with her presence around. I wish her the best for her future endeavours and certainly highly recommend her in any childcare related role.
