About Me
Wendy’s little ducklings childcare .
I am a registered Childminder, living in Rainham Essex
I provide care for term time only . No non term time places .
Spaces available full time as of 2024 .
I will have a full time place in September 2024 but not until then this means available from Monday to Friday 5 days of the week .
I do also do school drop off and pick ups from stated school on my page .
I have 7 children of my own, all are grown up and are working, I also have grandchildren which I mind as well . I do own a dog English springer spaniel who is a family pet he does not get left with the children without my supervision.
He has his own sleeping area .
I own a cat which spends most of his time outside .
Also have a pet rabbit . All children are supervised around the pets .
I have many years of experience with children from all age ranges and can be fairly flexible with the needs of parents as well as children .
I do school drop off and after school pick ups from scargil school .
i am located right next to SCARGIL school and a short distance from
WHYBRIDGE school.
All children I care/cared for have settled in fairly quickly and seem to be comfortable around me. Parents have said it is because my home is warm and welcoming.
I do own a dog, which is a springer spaniel he’s very friendly, and I supervise at all times. My dog is a family pet. I do not leave him alone with children .
I keep parents updated with their children's development and daytime activities through
WhatsApp.
I can supply refrences from parents that I work for or have worked for previously if you require them.
All home visits are available upon request.

My Experience
I have worked with children since 2008 to present, I also have plenty of experience looking after my own children.
I have done a number of courses to keep up with all of what is expected of me for childminding.
I have an NVQ 3 in Childcare and Development.
My Qualifications
I have the following qualifications:-

My Availability
I work from 7.30am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday only, I do not provide overnight care.
I have lots of activites that help children to develop all their skills and toys for all stages of development.
My home is warm and welcoming with a friendly atmosphere.
Availability changes all the time due to children starting full-time school, etc .

Or the odd days if I can although this may not be possible if it takes me over my ratios on certain days.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge £6.50 per hour, which includes children's snacks, while in my care .
I prefer parents to supply a packed lunch this is so parents know exactly what there children are eating .

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Scargill Infant School
