* I’m a proud mum of **7 grown-up children**, all now working
* I’m also a hands-on grandma and care for my **grandchildren**
* I bring years of experience and a true passion for working with little ones
**Pet-Friendly Home**
* I have an **English Springer Spaniel** who is a beloved family pet. He is never left unsupervised with the children and has his own designated sleeping area
* I also have a **cat**, who spends most of his time outdoors
* Plus, we have a **pet rabbit**!
* All children are always **closely supervised** around animals
**Settling-In Process**
The settling-in process is carried out over a two-week period, allowing children to gradually adjust to their new environment. Parents have reported that their children settle in well, which they attribute to the warm, homely atmosphere of my setting. I strive to create a welcoming, nurturing environment and maintain a flexible approach to accommodate the individual needs of each family.

I have worked with children from 2008 to the present, gaining a wealth of experience in both professional childcare settings and through raising my own children. This combination has given me a deep understanding of children's needs, development, and the importance of creating a nurturing environment.
To ensure I meet all current requirements for childminding, I regularly complete training and development courses. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Development, and I am committed to ongoing professional development to provide the highest standard of care.

**Childminding Information**
I offer childcare from **7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday**. Please note that I do **not provide overnight care**.
My home is **warm, welcoming, and friendly**, providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I offer a wide range of activities and toys designed to support all areas of development and cater to different age groups and stages.
I aim to be as **flexible** as possible to support families’ needs. I’m happy to offer **part-time care** or **occasional days**, depending on my availability. However, this is subject to space and ratio limits, so it may not always be possible.
**Availability** may change throughout the year due to children starting school or moving on, so please **get in touch to check current spaces**.
I’m located close to **Scargill School**, making drop-offs and pick-ups convenient for local families.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
**Fees and Meals**
My current rate is **£6.50 per hour**, which includes **snacks provided during your child's time in my care.
I kindly ask that parents provide a packed lunch** for their child. This allows you to have full control over what your child eats and ensures any specific dietary needs, preferences, or allergies are met.
