About Me
We are a loving family with a 8yr old girl (with health and physical needs) and 5yr old son. Our core values include:

Our daughter is a bright, articulate and happy child. She enjoys, art, cooking, singing, books, yoga, the park. She is a brave child with a unique capacity to cope with the tremendous medical intervention she has had to endure. As her mother, I have worked hard at helping her develop the resilience and skills she needs to thrive against the odds.
Our son was born into adversity and hold us together with charm, humour and compassion. He is incredibly playful and loves to escape into imaginary play, books and physical activities.
My Requirements
We have a role for a nanny/carer who has a strong interest in children’s health.
Our daughter is heavily immunosuppressed and is recovering from 5 years of respiratory failure including an ECMO run, Oscillator run and life saving lung transplant.
We are parents who have devoted our lives to getting her to this stage and we are looking for someone to work on improving key outcomes for her and supporting our family which includes her sibling
These include but are not limited to:
- personal care
- physio to help her stand and walk
- tutoring in English and maths to help her catch up with school work
- play to help her bond with her sibling and recover from trauma
- typical nannying duties
This is not a sole charge role, parents are present.
The role is for upto 35 hours a week. Please note that our daughter is the size of a small 4 year old. 95cm tall, weighs 16kg and requires physical support and lifting. This role may suit someone from a nursing/physio/teaching background.
The interviewing process will start with a video call, followed by a face to face interview and then a week’s trial.
